On Y&R recently, Devon Hamilton and girlfriend Amanda Sinclair enjoyed a romp in the hay the minute she returned from her trip with her family. Both are thrilled to be together again. While basking in the afterglow, he asked Amanda a big question. Will she move into his penthouse with him on Young and the Restless?
Fans know things went smoothly for the couple. So, it seems like the next logical step in the relationship. Devon supported Amanda Sinclair through a lot of ugliness as she got to know her birth family. Young and the Restless news shows Amanda has also been by his side as his first biological child was born. But that brought up rough feelings up for him.

So, he feels a strong bond and wants to play the role of daddy in the child’s life. Particularly since the man who’s supposed to be his dad – Chance Chancellor – is nowhere to be seen.
With Abby Newman‘s (Melissa Ordway) husband still MIA, the boy needs a father. Devon has been there for Abby. At times he is the main one to talk her off the ledge. However, Soap Dirt wonders if their bond could cause trouble in his relationship with the pretty lawyer on Young and the Restless.

This development would at least give Abby some closure. She could stop pining for him and move on with her life. The big question is will such a change affect the bond between Abby and her sperm donor Devon?
