‘Young and the Restless’: Shemar Moore Dealt Triple Heartache

The Young and the Restless spoilers report Shemar Moore (AKA Malcolm Winters) has a triple dose of heartache. Sadly, two of his fur buddies passed away last week. First, his bulldog Moe died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, March 19. Then the actor’s other dog Shug followed a few days later. This was on top of Shemar Moore losing dear friend and Y&R co-star Kristoff St John. Here’s the latest.

Young and the Restless: Shemar Moore Gains Two Angels

Moe Diggity and Shug Boogie, as he affectionately calls them, were Shemar Moore’s loyal bulldog companions for 12 years. They were close to his heart and now are his angels for life. The former Y&R star thanked Young and the Restless fans on Instagram for their outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

MY RIDE OR DIE HOMIES!!!!!!!!the BEST 12 years I could EVER ask for…. LOYAL and LOVING and FUNNY and FARTY the whole way!!! Moe died Tuesday night at 7pm…. he was tired but went out beautifully and peacefully in his sleep…Shug died this morning peacefully next to me sleeping under the dining room table with him….. he had tears in his eyes yesterday and clearly missed his PARTNER IN CRIME!!!! There was NO SHUG WITHOUT MOE….. my heart aches but they are TOGETHER as they always have been.. I LOVED THE SHIT OUTTA MY BOYS and they loved me back MORE!! Shug is with Moe now… they were never apart in life and Shug said “Fuck it Moe ain’t running around heaven without me!!!” They are TOGETHER for ALWAYS!!!! They were my BEST FRIENDS for 12 years!!! Shug’s Bday is this coming Sunday… St Patty’s Day….. Sleep Babies Sleep!!! Lick each other’s balls and stank up the place in heaven all you want!!!! DADDY LOVES YOU BOTH!!!!! Shemar Moore – Coping With Loss and Back to Y&R Soon as Malcolm Winters

Reportedly, this devastating loss is hitting Shemar Moore with triple force. Since, Moore is already coping with the recent death of his friend and Young and the Restless costar, Kristoff St John. The pair played brothers Neil Winters and Malcolm Winters on the CBS soap.

As a tribute to the loss of Kristoff St John, there’s a multi-episode arc about the abrupt death of his character Neil Winters on Y&R. He came back to play Malcolm Winters and appears on multiple Young and the Restless episodes surrounding the farewell storyline.

Shemar Moore was last spotted as Malcolm Winters back in 2014 but will appear next month on April 24 and 25 for the goodbye to Neil episodes honoring the late actor. Be sure to keep Shemar in your thoughts as he struggled with these recent losses and watch the CBS soap for his brief return.
