Sally Spectra at Loose Ends on The Young and the Restless
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) got axed from her fancy CEO job today on Y&R. And it was her former bed buddy Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that did the firing, but very much against his wishes. Then, he offered to find Sally a job.
But the fashionista declined the offer of assistance on The Young and the Restless. Now, Sally Spectra’s starting from the ground up again. And this isn’t the first time the chair’s been pulled out from under her. So, she knows how to rebuild.
You can also imagine that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) comes running when he hears she lost her job. So, he might even try and find her a spot at Jabot. But if she didn’t want his big brother’s help, she probably doesn’t want Adam’s either…
Chelsea Lawson Circles the Drain on Y&R
Elsewhere in Genoa City, Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) falling apart more each day. She seems rudderless and adrift. On Young and the Restless, both her biological sons shun her every time she comes around lately.
Plus, she quit her fashion job at Fenmore’s and declined the offer to host her own podcast. Lately, Chelsea’s lying in her hotel room bed, staring into space and looking glum. There’s not much to look forward to, it seems.
She has no job and no guy. She made a move on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but he rejected her on The Young and the Restless. And Adam rejected her too. Now, Chelsea desperately needs a purpose in her life. So, is her former rial the answer?
Young and the Restless Prediction – Sally & Chelsea Destined to be Dynamic Duo?
Our prediction is that Sally might be the person Chelsea needs in her life on the CBS soap opera. These ladies have a whole lot in common. From fashion to their taste in men, they’re a lot alike. Plus, even their con artist pasts are similar.
It was revealed on B&B before Sally came to Y&R. The redhead’s parents were carnies, drifters, and cons. If they can get past their animosity on The Young and the Restless, these two could be a perfect match. They could change each other’s lives.
Wouldn’t it be great to see Sally Spectra and Chelsea Lawson unite to launch a fashion house? Or even just to be close friends who read Vogue and drink cosmos together. And both are pals with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)…
Now, there’s no reason they can’t be friends since neither’s dating a Newman anymore. Spitfire Sally might be just the vibe needed to lift Chelsea out of her funk.
