Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance Chancellor Walks out on Abby
In the next episode of Y&R (11/15/2022), Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) finally goes home to face Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She’s thrilled when her hunky husband walks into the house, but then everything goes bad for the heiress.
As Young and the Restless fans know, Chance and Abby grow further apart by the day. Now, he tells her that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is the person she should be with — not him. While Abby begs and cries, her hubby shuts down and then walks out on her.
Later, Chance runs into the baby daddy his wife cheated with, and it goes badly. Devon tries to bury the hatchet and encourages him to return to his wife. That irritates the GCPD detective who storms off to drink alone.
Is the Detective Leaving Y&R? Will He Leave Town After Dumping his Wife?
Given the state of his marriage, it’s a fair question to ask — is Chance Chancellor leaving The Young and the Restless? There is no reason to suspect that he is leaving, at least not yet. After all, Genoa City’s down to one cop, so they really need him.
Plus, it’d be way too easy if he walked away and left the two cheaters to get cozy on Y&R. So far, there are still spoilers for Conner Floyd’s character, so it seems like he’ll stay and move on with his life. And Devon’s single now too.
With Amanda Sinclair walking out as Mishael Morgan exits Young and the Restless for the time being, he’s single as a Pringle. And you can bet he and his new bed buddy will commiserate. And they could hit the sheets again. So, what’s next for Chance?
Chance Chancellor’s Next Love Should Be [SPOILER] on Young and the Restless
There aren’t a ton of single women in GC. But there are a few — and some already have ties to the newly single detective. One is Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). She bonded with Chance a few times when discussing stress and mental health.
So, once she’s out of Fairview Psych Hospital, they might spark. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is single but she’s so fixated on revenge right now she’s not in the right headspace for a new romance. Instead, there’s someone closer that might be better for him.
Our Young and the Restless prediction is that Chance Chancellor’s new love could be Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). They bonded recently over missing Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). And Sharon knows how to be a good cop’s wife — unlike Abby.
Plus, Sharon understands his struggle with PTSD after the incident in Spain. Sharon could be a perfect partner for Chance. Plus, if Sharon married Chance Chancellor, it would give her a full set of legacy family hubbies.
Remember, Sharon’s married three Newmans (Victor, Adam, and Nick). And she walked down the aisle with Jack Abbott too. So, if she nabs a Chancellor, she’ll complete the trifecta of marrying into all three of Y&R‘s legacy families.
Could Sharon Rosales be Chance Chancellor’s rebound love on Young and the Restless? We sure hope so. And since she and Abby have never been friends, it could be a chance to salt the wounds of the Naked Heiress. What do you think?
