Young and the Restless Prediction: Nikki Slipping Away from Victor?

Young and the Restless’ Nikki Newman is still struggling with her sobriety. Also, things are shifting which could pull her away from her husband, Victor Newman, on the CBS soap opera.

Young and the Restless: Victor Questions Nikki Newman

This week, on Y&R, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is worried about his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). He fears she might not be making the right decisions as she struggles to stay sober. But things are even worse than Victor knows.

Nikki is keeping her husband at a distance and not letting him see how much she’s struggling. In addition, she started leaning on her ex-husband, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And when she realizes that Victor no longer trusts her judgment she may pull back from him even more.

Nikki Closer to Jack on Y&R

Young and the Restless spoilers see Jack stepping up for his ex-wife, Nikki. Indeed, they have a lot of history. After all, they were married — twice. Plus, Jack knows what addiction is like because he was hooked on pills years ago.

That’s part of the reason he wants to help Nikki so much is because he can relate and knows the right way to help her. Recently, she slipped up again and had a couple of drinks but it didn’t get out of hand.

So, she turned to Jack and asked if he would take her to an AA meeting. She wants him to be her sponsor on Young and the Restless but Jack worries that Victor will not like that. Furthermore, he wanted her to loop Victor in and let him know what was going on.

But Nikki refused. She said Victor is always hovering and it makes her feel trapped and ashamed. So, clearly, she’s not feeling support from her hubby, although, he is trying. But she is feeling it from Jack.

He is going above and beyond to help and won’t let her down. His wife, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), is very supportive of him helping Nikki. However, that may change because Diane clashes with Nikki soon on Young and the Restless.

Chaos Ahead for Nikki on Young and the Restless?

Things could get messy for Nikki as she continues to lean on Jack and trips further away from Victor. Even though Diane tries to be supportive, she may not like how much time Jack spends with Nikki.

Or, that he is willing to drop everything, day or night, to be there for her. Also, it wasn’t that long ago that Nikki conspired with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to run her out of Genoa City.

So, there’s already bad blood between them on Young and the Restless. And Jack’s devotion to Nikki may cause problems in his marriage to Diane and her marriage to Victor.
