Young and the Restless: Danny & Daniel’s Cheating – Like Father Like Son?

Young and the Restless father-son duo Danny Romalotti and Daniel Romalotti are not doing right by their ladies these days on the CBS sudsfest.

Young and the Restless: Romalotti Boys Acting Up

We have got to talk about those Romalotti rascals on Y&R. Father and son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Although they’re not biologically related, they sure do act a lot like each other.

And right now, they’re both behaving badly when it comes to the women in their lives. Are they just pathological cheaters? Did Daniel learn this behavior from Danny? Let’s dive in.

Daniel Romalotti Stepping Out on Lily on Y&R

Right now, on Young and the Restless, Daniel Romalotti is in a serious relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) who’s off-screen right now. They wrote a weird plot where Lily’s daughter Maddie had a boarding school teacher die in a wildfire. So, she is off supporting her kid.

I’m not sure if that idea came from throwing a dart at random soap ideas but it’s bizarre. At any rate, she’s out for weeks to come. And while the cat’s away, the mice are definitely playing as they say. Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is lurking around on Young and the Restless.

She’s trying to cozy up to Daniel – literally. Like when he fell asleep on the sofa and she cuddled up to him, wrapping herself around him knowing she could say she didn’t realize she’d done it. And, of course, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) snapped a pic of them.

reunion. She snapped the photo of them and I suspect she’ll post it somewhere on social media that she knows Lily will see it. And don’t forget they kissed after he woke up to her sleeping on his chest.

Then, on Young and the Restless, Heather flat-out tells Daniel that she’s falling in love with him again and they kiss again. Plus, it appears that they take it further. So, yeah, Daniel is definitely cheating. And you may recall that Daniel wanted Heather back when he first returned to Genoa City.

But she wasn’t interested and had found another man in Portugal. She still had issues
with Daniel. But Lily whipped him into shape and now Heather wants to benefit from all of Lily’s efforts by stealing him back. He’s totally cheating.

Danny Romalotti Acting Icky on Young and the Restless

Meanwhile, Daniel’s daddy Danny is romancing Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) and talking about getting serious with her again. But, at the same time, he’s openly allowing Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to come sniffing around.

And he’s not being honest about it with Cricket. No doubt, he’s also behaving badly. When Phyllis showed up at the apartment the other day and started talking about how they both have these feelings, Danny should have told her to leave if he is indeed serious about Christine.

Phyllis kissed him, shoved her tongue in his mouth, and was writhing all over him like a cat in heat on Young and the Restless. He finally stopped it, she left, and Christine showed up. Without missing a beat, Danny then kissed Christine.

Do you know how furious she’d be if she found out that Danny was Frenching them one right after another? Just eww. Tacky, deceitful, cheating behavior that he should not be doing. Meanwhile, he’s planning a romantic getaway with Christine.

Does Danny Really Love Christine?

He wrote a new song for Christine and named it for Hawaii, where they got married. He got her a bracelet like the one he’d given her years before. And by all accounts, they seem to be fast-tracking their reunion. But he is also not shutting Phyllis down on Young and the Restless.

Phyllis has been acting super skanky lately. She put on sexy undies and met Danny at the jazz lounge and then was pulling her dress down to show him her bra. It’s just crass behavior. That’s not how an adult of 58 years should be acting in public. What if one of her kids walks in? What if someone else kid walks in?

Again, just ew. And then Phyllis made her move, sucking face with him and he actually kissed her back. That man is making out with his rapist. There’s no other way to describe it. She drugged and forced herself on him back in the day on Young and the Restless.

Then lied about her pregnancy. Phyllis is all talk about being a new person when acting just like she always does. And on the Wednesday, January 17th episode, Christine went off on Danny. That’s because she walked into the GCAC and saw him playing tonsil hockey with Phyllis.

And let’s be real – this is not happening because Phyllis loves Danny. She does not. She just really really really hates Christine.
And she doesn’t want The Bug to have the aging rockstar no matter what. If Christine wasn’t around, Phyllis might not even pay attention to Danny on Young and the Restless.

Danny Headed for Heartbreak

But he’s clearly an idiot – maybe trying to recapture his youth somehow by letting two ladies fight over him. I guess this whole situation is stroking his ego. And what’s really ironic is that Danny actually gave Daniel some romantic advice recently.

He warned him that Lucy was trying to match-make a reunion between him and Heather. At least in Daniel’s case, I think he really loves both Heather and Lily. Where with Danny, I feel like he may love Cricket. But with Phyllis, he just loves the attention on Young and the Restless.

Letting a lunatic like Phyllis back in his pants is a recipe for disaster. She’s toxic, and that’s it. Not that Christine’s some great prize either. I don’t feel sorry for her particularly because she was goading Phyllis about the upcoming trip.

If she hadn’t been rubbing her and Danny in Red’s face, she wouldn’t have pulled the stunt that she did. It’s just frankly icky to watch Christine and Phyllis fight over Danny who’s not exactly a prize himself. It’s all a big mess that won’t end well for anyone.

Lily Winters Deserves Better on Y&R

And as for Daniel, Heather, and Lily – he’s behaving despicably on Young and the Restless. Lily’s off dealing with a grieving child and he is letting his ex shove her tongue in his mouth. Lily deserves better. Usually, she gets the worst men in her life who don’t do right by her.

Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) was a cheating con man. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) didn’t do her any favors, and now Daniel’s a cheater. Maybe while she’s off dealing with the wildfire fallout, Lily can find a hunky fireman and forget about unfaithful Daniel.

It’s the least he deserves on Young and the Restless. And as for what Danny Romalotti deserves… I think it’d be hilarious if he chose Phyllis because she’s gotten him all worked up. Then, when Christine walks away, Phyllis loses interest as well because it is all about the rivalry, not the guy.
