‘Young and the Restless’ Comings & Goings: Noah Newman Recast – Robert Adamson Replaced
Young and the Restless comings and goings confirm Noah Newman is back soon but Robert Adamson isn’t in the role. Instead, there’s a hunky new actor – Rory Gibson. This soap opera newbie will be on our screens in just a few weeks. Here’s what we know about he latest hunk to fill the shoes of the legacy offspring character.
Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: Recast Noah Newman – Robert Adamson Not Returning
It’s been just shy of a year since Y&R fans saw Noah Newman in Genoa City. He returned for a short stint as his mother, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) was dealing with her ongoing cancer storyline. While in town, Noah also chafed at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being in his mother’s life.
Plus, there were some sparks between Noah and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) that had many Young and the Restless viewers hoping he’d be back to stay and paired with her. Since then, Sasha Calle landed the groundbreaking role of Supergirl. She’s the first Latina to ever step into that cape and Young and the Restless fans can’t wait to see her in the DC franchise.
That was in September 2020 that Noah Newman left town but he’s been name dropped a few times on Young and the Restless. He’s reportedly doing some consulting graphics work for Newman Media even though he despises Adam. It’ll be on this Fall on Y&R when nu-Noah hits GC and we see Rory Gibson replacing Robert Adamson. The latest addition to the Young and the Restless cast is Roderick “Rory” Gibson. Recast Noah is also a decade younger than his predecessor in the role, Adamson. So, it’s a little of a reverse-SORAS. That could be to pair him with a younger actress. Could Noah Newman be destined to mingle with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) perhaps?
Noah’s the right age for Sally on Young and the Restless. And both will be hanging around Newman Media. We’ll have to wait and see if these two tango. What else is there to know about Gibson? He’s a dog lover (he’s got a bunch) and martial arts aficionado. And the latest Young and the Restless hire has a longtime committed girlfriend (sorry ladies). Did we mention she’s gorgeous model, Alicia Ruelas?
