‘Young and the Restless’ Comings & Goings LEAK: 2 Actors Out When ‘Y&R’ Returns?

Young and the Restless is back soon, and we’ve got leaks about casting, including two big exits that may happen. Of course, there are always rumors about who’s in and who’s out at Y&R. And nothing is official until the network announces or the actors confirm. However, here’s the latest chatter we’ve heard from behind the scenes on two actors that may leave.

Young and the Restless Comings & Goings: Is Rey Rosales Leaving?

One of the two names we’ve heard from our source close to Y&R is Jordi Vilasuso, as Rey Rosales. However, this one seems strange since he’s in the thick of Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) cancer crisis. So, why would Rey leave? It could be that Rey Rosales doesn’t last after this plot wraps.

We’ve also heard Young and the Restless pulls Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into Sharon’s cancer story. Many fans see that as long overdue. And you can bet Rey won’t like that at all. But, Adam’s planning a wedding now, so it would be huge if they split “Chadam” and went back to “Shadam.”

For now, this behind-the-scenes talk about the Rey Rosales actor seems strange, but it’s what we heard from our Young and the Restless leaker. Rey’s exit makes sense if it’s months down the road, rather than now. But, they could write out Rey Rosales and have him exit for a family emergency, etc.

The Other Y&R Exit Chatter – Kevin Fisher Actor Greg Rikaart

We’ve also heard that Young and the Restless might write Greg Rikaart out as Kevin Fisher. Again, this is a strange one and not likely to come right after they resume filming – if it’s true. Kevin and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have their new baby soon, so it seems random.

However, even before this, Young and the Restless plot, Kevin was in and out as storyline demanded, regularly. But this most recent return of Kevin Fisher’s been more consistent. So, perhaps Kevin stays around until the child is born, and then they write him out.

And if Young and the Restless comings and goings send Kevin packing, does that mean Chloe goes with him? We’ve heard no talk about Chloe leaving. Plus, Kevin Fisher and Rey’s exits seem ill-timed if they happen. But, remember, Y&R writers have been busy while on hiatus.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Big Changes Afoot at CBS Soap

One thing we know is that the Y&R writers haven’t been sitting idle during hiatus. They’ve been refining scripts, making long-term plans, and writing a pile of scripts. So, these exit whispers may be for long-term plans and not those in the few months once Young and the Restless returns.

But, Young and the Restless history reminds they’ve done abrupt changes in the past. Remember, they cut out Gina Tognoni as Phyllis Stafford and replaced her in a heartbeat. And, they’ve written other drastic changes and killed off characters willy-nilly.
