Xander Fights to Get Sarah Committed on ‘Days of Our Lives’

Xander Cook Wants Sarah Horton Committed on Days of our Lives
DOOL updates report Xander Cook feels he has no other choice than to get Sarah Horton sent away to Bayview. Recaps show Xander couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the real Sarah Horton in the flesh. He was stunned to learn she’d been held captive by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) for almost a year.
All this time, Xander thought his ex-fiancée dumped him and left Salem on her own accord. But, when things didn’t add up for her mom Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers), he went on a fact-finding mission with Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller).
Recaps show Abigail found out the details but got more than she bargained for. She, too, got taken to the deserted island.

However, rescuers find both Sarah and Abigail on Days of our Lives. But the doctor is not herself these days, as Xander quickly learned.
Try as he might, Xander couldn’t get his former sweetheart to remember their love. She insisted she was not Sarah but Renee DuMonde. Further, recaps show she kept calling Xander “Alex.”
Of course, Xander Cook doesn’t know who Renee or Alex is. This week on the NBC soap, He talks with Maggie about his action plan. He feels if his ex isn’t willing to get treatment independently, Maggie should commit her to the in-patient hospital. Will she agree to have her daughter committed?

Meanwhile, Days of our Lives teasers hint Sarah Horton drives a wedge between a once-happily married couple. Needless to say, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) received a huge shock when he went on the search and rescue mission. He went with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) as a backup but ended up with a ghost from his past following him home.
Of course, recaps show Sarah/Renee thrilled to be in her lover Tony’s arms again. To make matters more difficult, Tony played along with the addled doctor and convinced her to come home to Salem. But, his wife Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) can’t believe her doting husband would continue the ruse.
