Who is the New Doctor on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’?
Bold and the Beautiful welcomed a new doctor this week, but who is Dr. Jordan Armstrong (Vincent Irizarry)? Technically, it’s someone longtime watchers saw before. This time, he’s making a house call to check on shell-shocked Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). Here’s what to know about the new doctor on B&B.
Who’s the New Doctor on Bold and the Beautiful?
CBS daytime casting news says that Dr. Jordan Armstrong is the “new” doctor fans saw on Monday, July 25, 2022. He’s played by soap vet Vincent Irizarry. It turns out Jordan’s a pal of Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont).
Because Li’s not talking, Bill decided she needed a medical consult. And so, Dr. Jordan Armstrong hustled over to do some triage and talk to her on Bold and the Beautiful. At first, her memory was hazy.

Then, as the doc asked questions, it all seemed to come back to her. That’s good because her son, John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is in danger thanks to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). She just drugged him again.
If Dr. Armstrong looks familiar, that’s for good reason. He was on B&B for 10 episodes back in 2019. Why? Jordan was the ER physician that treated Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) after his stepmother pushed him off a cliff.
Vincent Irizarry Returns to B&B on CBS
Dr. Jordan Armstrong alerted Bill to the fact that Li’s clearly been in a car accident based on the glass that’s on her. And he told Dollar Bill that he’d done a good deed bringing her home with him on The Bold and the Beautiful.
If you wonder why the actor looks so familiar, it’s with good reason. Vincent Irizarry’s a seasoned soap opera veteran. He played the now-dead, Deimos Kiriakis on Days of our Lives. In that role, he played a bad, bad man.
He also did time on All My Children as Dr. David Hayward. Plus, he also did a turn on Young and the Restless. That was as David Chow. He was sinister on Y&R too. And when Chow died, his ex-wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) spread his ashes on horse poo.
Glancing further back, years before this turn on Bold and the Beautiful, he had more soap roles. There was Nick McHenry on Guiding Light. And he was another doc on prime-time soap, Santa Barbara, Dr. Scott Clark.
Dr. Jordan Armstrong Sticks Around?
With several medical crises at play, we might see Dr. Jordan for more than just this one episode. After all, Li might still need some treatment for her traumatic ordeal. And then there’s Finn.
Upcoming B&B spoilers show Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) learning from Bill soon that Finn’s alive. That means Li must have snapped out of it — perhaps with more help from the “new” Bold and the Beautiful doctor.
And if they do make it to Finn, he’ll no doubt need some medical care as well, So, we might see more of Dr. Jordan Armstrong soon. Whatever the reason, it’s always great to see the talented Vincent Irizarry on our TV screens.
