‘Welcome to Plathville’: Micah Gets Dangerously Festive?

Welcome to Plathville star Micah Plath recently shared that he was busy getting some of his holiday gift buying out of the way. TLC fans know Micah is a model, and he can’t resist a good photo opportunity.

But one of his holiday photos shows the reality star doing something one fan felt could be potentially dangerous. So what did Micah do that caused his fans’ concern?

Welcome to Plathville: Micah Plath Gets Festive

TLC reality star and model Micah Plath decided to get some of his holiday shopping out of the way recently. Shopping during the holidays can be quite a chore for some. But Welcome to Plathville fans know that Micah has a playful personality and likes to make everything he does fun.

So, the 21-year-old reality star decided to get a few silly photos during holiday shopping. In one photo, Micah wears a holiday wreath around his neck while he carries a Poinsettia plant and a poker set.

The second oldest Plath son is wearing a white sweatsuit with sneakers and looks to be having a great time checking gifts off his holiday list.

The second photo that Micah shares with his fans shows him continuing to act up, but this time he is biting down on the leaves of the poinsettia plant. Now we do not know if the plant is real or artificial. But this is the photo that fans are most concerned about.

Fans Call Out Micah’s Potentially Dangerous Move

The Welcome to Plathville fans became very alarmed that Micah Plath was putting the plant in his mouth. They quickly began commenting on what they think is a dangerous move.

One fan quickly commented, “Bruh, I know it is probably fake, but you do know poinsettias are poisonous, right? Another added I was just about to say the same thing. Don’t eat the poinsettia!

One more Welcome to Plathville fan jumped into the conversation, responding to the concerned commenters saying poinsettias are only poisonous “to pets, not to humans… He may get diarrhea from eating it or a rash. But the chances are rare. Just don’t feed them to your dogs or cats.’

So, as a holiday PSA, Poison Control tells us poinsettias are often mistaken for poisonous plants. But that is incorrect.

Poinsettias can be irritating but not fatal if eaten. However, children or pets eating poinsettias can develop a mouth rash or upset stomach. The sap from the plant can also cause an irritating rash.

Welcome to Plathville: How Will the Family Spend the Holidays?

Now that fans know that Micah Plath is out of danger, except for maybe that rash or stomach issue. They are curious how the Welcome to Plathville stars will spend the holidays. Some wonder if the siblings will be getting together or not.

It may be a little more difficult this year since the Plath siblings are more spread out. With Micah in Los Angeles and Ethan Plath and his wife Olivia Plath now living in Minneapolis, it could be more challenging for the family to clear their busy schedules simultaneously.
