Olivia and her husband Ethan’s marriage issues are no secret to viewers. The young couple’s struggles have been the base of the couple’s storyline for the previous four seasons of Welcome to Plathville. In 2018, they started their lives together under the harsh scrutiny of his parents Barry Plath and his ex-wife Kim Plath.
His parents felt that her different lifestyle badly influenced their son. He and his siblings were raised in a strict, sheltered, religious atmosphere. His parents chose to homeschool him and his nine siblings. They were kept on the farm and away from technology. Their parent’s strict list of rules banned them from everyday teenage lives and sugary foods and soda.

The family conflict brought issues into their marriage that, over the years, led to separations, counseling, and tough choices over family relationships. These are issues that Olivia seemingly can’t move past.
Olivia Excludes Husband from Her Life?
The Welcome to Plathville stars chose to leave behind their family members and their childhood home last November and move from Georgia to Minnesota in hopes of building a new life together. However, as of February, fans noticed something was amiss between the spouses.
Olivia Plath keeps a solid social media presence, and before February, her posts were filled with photos and updates regarding their lives together. But since then, her social media pages have remained updated. However, they are missing one essential part of her life, her husband.
Fans of Welcome to Plathville also notice that she no longer mentions him. Nor does she wear her wedding ring. She also loves to travel and spends many weeks far away from Minnesota and her partner. Fans felt for some time that the pair may have split.
But she gave fans a brief glimmer of home during her recent Instagram share. She posted the first public photo of them together in several months.

Olivia’s dinner photo roused many fan suspicions, with many believing it was posted to control the divorce rumors circulating. Others felt it is a publicity tease ahead of an (unconfirmed) upcoming new season.
But Ethan Plath also surprised his Welcome to Plathville followers with his post. He shares a few photos of himself in one of his classic cars. He is alone in the pictures. His caption reads, “It has been my experience in life that few things are heavier to bear than regret.”
Of course, his followers immediately began commenting on the post. They also wanted to know whether they were still together. But he has yet to respond to the comments. Fans say they are unsure how to take his post. Some say they believe the regrets he speaks of are about his marriage, while others are not so sure.
The Welcome to Plathville star may regret leaving Georgia and his siblings. Or he could be ready to reconcile with his mom, Kim. The possibilities are endless.
However, some continue to feel Olivia Plath, and Ethan Plath’s actions are to keep fans anxiously awaiting the day when the Plath family and the network hopefully make an official announcement regarding Season 5. But for now, fans will have to wait on the couple to share any news, whether it is good or bad.
