Details about the upcoming season have not been released yet. So far, Lydia Plath said that the family started Season 5 filming late last summer.

At this time, Lydia is the only member of the Plath family who has spoken out about Season 5 of Welcome to Plathville. The new season is scheduled to air sometime late this fall.
