‘Vanderpump Rules’: Katie Maloney Serves Tom Schwartz with Divorce Papers
Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney, and Tom Schwartz are moving forward with their divorce. The reality television personalities announced their split on February 12, two days before Valentine’s Day.
Both Katie and Tom shared the news of their decision with their fans on Instagram. Since the split, the former couple has continued sharing their marital home, making Maloney’s next move awkward.
Vanderpump Rules: Katie Maloney & Tom Schwartz Are Ready to Move On
On March 22 Katie Maloney personally filed to petition for divorce from her Vanderpump Rules co-star and husband, Tom Schwartz. Tom was recently served with the official divorce papers at their $2 million Valley Village home.
Soap Dirt got the court documents and can confirm that Maloney, 35, cited irreconcilable differences and asked that the court not award support to either of them.
The court documents also reveal that the Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney represents herself in the case. Maloney filed the paperwork in Los Angeles Superior Court late last month. The divorce petition also says that debts and assets they came into the marriage will follow them out of it.
Reports reveal that Tom willingly signed the paperwork and acknowledged that he was being served at the time. The couple has previously announced that they agree to their split, and Tom will file his response within 30 days of the filing.
Tom Says He Will Always Love Katie
The Vanderpump Rules couple’s fans were sad to hear that they would be splitting after being together for 12 years. Tom and Katie married in 2016. After finding a mix-up in their marriage paperwork and that the union was not legal.
The reality couple then married a second time in 2019. Both Katie and Tom have revealed they are ready to move forward with their lives. They also claim both be moving out of their marital home and into separate homes soon.

Schwarts recently admitted that he has still been wearing his wedding ring for the past few months. However, he reveals he has since stopped out of respect for Katie.
The Bravo star also confesses that he still feels great love and admiration for his soon-to-be-ex. He also states that he will always love Katie no matter what.
Is Bravo Bring Vanderpump Rules Back for Season 10?
Fans of Vanderpump Rules claim they were in shock after hearing about Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s decision to split. They reveal it came as a surprise during Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules because there were no hints.
They claim that things did not look completely perfect between the pair, but there was never any indication that things were falling apart so rapidly.
