The Chrisley Knows Best star recently shared with Chrisley Knows Best followers that his mother, Nanny Faye Chrisley, has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. Chrisley said that Nanny was diagnosed last fall.
The reality star adds that the family has kept Nanny Faye’s diagnosis private because she did not want to share the news publicly at the time.
He says, “We’ve kept it private because she wanted it to be private,” stated Todd Chrisley. Chrisley Knows Best patriarch Todd adds that the press and fans bombard the family due to the trial.
Chrisley states, “We’ve had the press outside our door, sitting at the end of our street with long-lens cameras, trying to get photographs of us…and showing up at my mother’s home.”
Todd Reveals the Entire Chrisley Family Is Struggling
Chrisley said it is all so overwhelming. However, he expresses his biggest concerns are not for himself but, in fact, for his mother, Nanny Faye.
He is asking for one request. “I would ask that the people who are doing this respect that she is 77 years old. He continues his plea by admitting that his mother is battling for her life.
The Chrisley Knows Best star continues, “We’re struggling with that, and doing the treatments and being optimistic.”

The reality couple said they were never expecting a guilty verdict. They are due back in court on October 6 for sentencing.

Currently, both Todd and Julie remain under house arrest. There are exceptions. The Chrisley Knows Best stars may get prior approval from those who are monitoring the couple to leave for medical, work, and religious purposes.
Yet, with only 120 days ahead of them before sentencing, they must face making difficult decisions about their family.
