On White Lotus, Dom’s estranged wife Abbey, is only heard on the phone. And it’s the distinctive voice of Laura Dern.

Now, fans are wondering if the characters Nicole Mossbacher and Abby are sisters. Many predict that the two women will share the screen in the upcoming third season.

Connie Britton Talks About the Sister Theory Surrounding the HBO Series

When asked about the theory by Variety, Britton said, “Oooh, I’ve never heard that before,” and said that she would come back to the show in a heartbeat if asked.

Britton further says that the writer and producer, Mike White, is a genius. And, she’ll always say yes to him “until the end of time”.

Many reality show fans remember Mike White as a contestant from Survivor season 37 (David vs. Goliath). He made it to the end but lost in the finale.

So, since Connie Britton is not involved in The White Lotus Season 3, it’s safe to assume she won’t play the sister of Laura Dern.

But don’t rule that out for future seasons. Television writers love to take fan theories and turn them into TV reality.

What is the location of The White Lotus in Season 3?

Although Mike has released few details about the third season, he hinted to Deadline that the location and theme will be a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.

Mike White went on to say that they just did Europe, so Asia is probably next. So, since the fictional White Lotus hotel chain has locations around the world, Mike White can pick any luxury destination country in the Eastern world.

With the second season ending with the death of Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge), fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the award-winning HBO drama.
