‘The Bachelorette’: Katie Confronts Cody for Using Her for Fame
The Bachelorette star Katie Thurston is not playing games when it comes to finding love. She lets Cody Menk know exactly what she’s thinking and how she feels.
The Bachelorette: All the Men for Katie Thurston
The Bachelorette has Katie Thurston trying to find the love of her life. Every girl who has ever been on the show or even dreamed about being on the show has a specific idea in mind. You show up, and a giant group of very handsome, successful men all compete to see who you love the most. And you get to pick. It’s perfect because they all think you’re gorgeous and amazing. And Katie was the next lucky girl to get the spotlight.
But her dream of it all being perfect may not be coming true. A group date where she makes the boys get in the mud and fight shows her just what is going on. Cody Menk and Aaron Clancy were pinned against each other but not by accident. While all the other men fought fairly and had fun, Cody and Aaron really duked it out, taking out some anger.
ABC Stars Pre-Fight Fight
The Bachelorette lovely lady Katie Thurston did not expect to see all the tension between Cody Menk and Aaron Clancy. The fact that the pair fought each other so hard put Katie on edge. But what she didn’t know about is the little spat Aaron and Cody had the first night. Cameras caught the pair arguing and Aaron telling Cody he just doesn’t like him. Apparently, the pair know each other outside of the show, and Aaron thinks that Cody is a very shady guy.

This causes Katie to choose Aaron as the winner of the mud fights so she can get to the bottom of the mess. She is known for being against fighting, so she was quick to shut it down. Finding out from Aaron that he thinks Cody is there for fame made her very upset. She says that this is her life that people are playing with.
The Bachelorette: Katie Thurston Doesn’t Know What to Think
The Bachelorette’s Katie Thurston was won over early by Cody Menk. While he didn’t win the first impression rose, he definitely impressed her with the way he arrived. He pulled a card from her old book, and when he introduced himself, he brought an adult inflatable toy. Katie did this upon meeting Matt James in his season of The Bachelor.
Something like this drew her in but was this just a ploy to get in good? Aaron Clancy certainly thinks so. But some fans think that maybe Aaron is the one that is there for fame. This early in the game makes it hard to spot people’s true intentions. But it does mean that Katie Thurston could stand to drop a guy or two. So once back from getting muddy, she pulls Cody aside.
ABC Star Makes a Hard Decision
Katie Thurston from The Bachelorette gets Cody Menk alone to talk about some rumors she heard. She tells him she was told he was an unkind person, and that is the opposite of what she is looking for. She also says that she thinks he is there for fame. And when she tells him this, she says he doesn’t seem to be shocked. Katie finds this worrisome. She says if she found out someone said that about her, she would not react that way.
After taking some time to herself, she decides to let him know that she doesn’t feel like they have trust. Katie sends him home because she doesn’t think there is a point in dragging things further. He tells her that he hopes she finds what she is looking for.
