Matt Roloff is the patriarch of his family. He appears on TLC’s Little People Big World. The show follows the his growing family and the Roloff farm in Hillsboro, Oregon. Matt has diastrophic dysplasia and was married to Amy Roloff  – who has achondroplasia. Together they had four children. Three are average height and one, Zach Roloff has a form of dwarfism.

Matt Roloff loves his life on the farm and has taken it to great success. The Roloff farm is open to the public during the fall for pumpkin season. This has been the main source of income for the family for years. Matt likes make many improvements at the farm and enjoys a building project. Not long ago Matt built an airplane for his grandson, who also has dwarfism.

While Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff got divorced, both have found love again. Matt is now with Caryn Chandler. Caryn was an employee of the farm for over a decade – so the getting to know each other stage of the relationship happened fast and somewhat organically. They have purchased a vacation home in Arizona. Matt says the warm climate is helpful for his physical conditions.

Matt and Caryn are discussing possibly moving to Arizona permanently. No one ever thought that Matt would leave Roloff Farms. He still owns half of all property and interests from the farm. Recently, there has been talk that his son Zach might buy out his dad and take over the family business. It would be nice to see a family tradition kept alive. The next chapter for all of the Roloff’s on Little People Big World will be very interesting.
