‘Sister Wives’: Kody & Son Spill Spoilers for Season 17 and Beyond
Sister Wives Season 17 has Kody Brown‘s family either done filming or close to wrapping up. So, while Kody offered up a few slips on what to expect, one of his kids is also heard from.
It looks like Kody’s son, Paedon Brown, has a few slips of his own. But he did confirm Season 17 is in the works. On January 22, he wrote, “They are filming currently,” to a fan’s comment.

Kody Brown started dropping spoilers for Season 17 when Season 16 first rolled out. It seems that the filming from one season to another went straight through without much of a hiatus.
Or at least that’s what it sounded like when Kody Brown first mentioned it to a Sister Wives fan. Kody talked about officiating a wedding. No, not one of his own. Instead, he acted as the clergy for a good friend who was a bachelor in his 50s.
From what the father of 18 said, it was a fun event. Fans don’t seem to be interested in the friend or the event details. Instead, they want to know who Kody took with him to the wedding.
Paedon Brown Shares the Low Down
It sounds as if the fate of the Sister Wives series is a topic of conversation for Kody Brown and some of the family members. In a recent interview, Paedon Brown seemed to share the consensus of the family over what fate has in store for the TLC series.
He sounded like he was under the impression that ratings were getting better. It seems the worse things got for the family, the more viewers tuned in. So, he seemed to think the chances of another season after Season 17 looked good. That’s if they can keep the viewers interested.
He went as far as even suggesting a few more seasons could be in the cards. So, it looks as if Paedon learned even if the bickering might not be good for the family, it has a silver lining. It appears that the tears shed on-screen are good for the longevity of the Sister Wives TV show.
Sister Wives: Does Kody Say Good-Bye?
Papa Brown will see his third wife pack up and leave Flagstaff for good. Season 16 led viewers up to the demise of Kody and Christine Brown’s marriage. Next, Season 17 will show the actual parting of the ways. So far, it’s not known if her now-ex-husband even says farewell or not.
With Christine hundreds of miles away in Utah, will the Flagstaff-based series leave her out? No, from all reports, Christine Brown is still a part of the Sister Wives show in her new home.
Janelle Brown is also a wife rethinking her future in this last season. But she hasn’t gone as far as Christine — yet. So, Season 17 offers some insight into Janelle’s choice to stay or leave.
This dad mentioned in a more recent episode that he has a strained relationship with two of his adult boys. He also said that they need counseling. So, that too might play out in the next season of Sister Wives.
Don’t forget about Coyote Pass, now that it has a water storage tank, the building of the homes may finally start. But how many houses?

Kody Brown is done with the drama he gets from his wives. So, according to Us Weekly, rumor has it that he’s ready to rebuild a polygamous marriage. Reports have him ready to find a few more wives.
If this is the case, fans assume he’ll search for compliant women. This is a word he tossed around when the wives were at odds with his COVID rules last season. He also wouldn’t sleep with a wife who wasn’t compliant. So, it seems he puts a lot of stock in that word.
Wife-hunting is always a possibility when it comes to Kody. But it’s not likely something even he would attempt with the mess his family is in right now. Plus, fans can’t see Robyn Brown going for this.
This rumor might work to bring back more fans, so it could do well for publicity. But most fans don’t see more wives working for Kody Brown or what’s left of the Sister Wives family.
