Sister Wives: Kody’s Home Emergency Triggered By Garrison’s Death?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown‘s home was reportedly the scene of Flagstaff CARE Unit, two days after his son, Garrison Brown, died in an apparent suicide. The famous polygamous family from the TLC series is in mourning today after the tragic loss of their 25-year-old son and brother.

Sister Wives: Gabriel Brown Goes to Get Kody Brown

Gabriel Brown discovered his brother’s body the day after the apparent suicide. Reports last week indicated Gabe notified the police. After law enforcement arrived, he left the scene at one point and went with a family member to Kody’s house. The police were under the impression that Kody would return with his son. But Gabe Brown later returned alone.

Concerns about Robert Garrison Brown started when he sent a text message to people who work with the family. The names of the folks who received Garrison’s message are unknown. But it’s assumed by fans that they are the crew who film the Sister Wives series.

After Janelle became aware of the text message, she was concerned. Garrison wrote,  “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.” So, Janelle got a hold of Garrison and the mom and son texted back and forth.

But, the next day, Janelle became worried when Garrison didn’t answer her text. Then, this Sister Wives mom asked her adult children in Flagstaff to check on Garrison. Reports indicate Gabe volunteered. And sadly, Gabriel discovered the horrific scene of his brother’s death.

Flagstaff CARE Unit Speeds Up to Kody’s House

The Flagstaff CARE Unit was created to take the calls best suited for a mental health professional to handle, rather than police. Each unit consists of a mental health professional and a Fire Department EMT.

Kody Brown’s neighbor called a popular Sister Wives blogger and sent along photos of the unit’s vehicles at the home of Kody and Robyn Brown.  It is not known which family member needed this unit or the reason they were called out to Kody’s home.

This was Thursday night around 7:30 pm when the neighbor reported that three vehicles “whizzed through their neighborhood” to the Sister Wives couple’s home. So, this happened two days after Garrison’s death.

According to the local news in Flagstaff, the city launched the Community Alliance Response and Engagement (CARE) unit back in May 2022. The blogger’s report indicates that the Flagstaff Police could not confirm that the CARE unit was dispatched to the address of Kody and Robyn Brown.

Sister Wives: Family In Mourning

The Sister Wives family members are navigating these days of despair, which follow the death of a loved one. But they do this in different ways. Meri Brown shared a tribute for her mom in which she called upon her late mother, Bonnie Ahlstrom, to keep an eye on Garrison Brown.

Christine Brown remembered Garrison in a sweet video, where he built a flower box for his sister, Truely Brown. Truely is Christine’s daughter, making Garrison his half-sister. He was Janelle and Kody Brown’s son.  But the Sister Wives family refers to all 18 kids as brothers and sisters.

Janelle Brown shared a picture that she will likely cherish forever. She and her biological children and grandchildren spent last Christmas together. So, she writes how “extremely grateful” she is today that they had pictures taken together. The picture above is what this Sister Wives’ mom shared online.

So far, Kody Brown and Robyn Brown remain silent. Both Janelle and Kody Brown posted a duplicate announcement of Garrison’s death on their separate social media accounts. But Kody has remained quiet online since that time.
