Sister Wives star Kody Brown needs a new show opener now that the family evolved into something different. This is the cry of the fans today who don’t see Kody and the ladies like they were in the beginning.

Sister Wives: Is New Kody Brown Intro in the Cards?

Sister Wives fans went a bit further than requesting a new show opener. They also gave plenty of suggestions on how this intro as well as Kody Brown should look in this.

For all 16 seasons so far, Kody shares his mantra in the show opener. It’s that math equation about him preferring multiplication over division.

Love should be multiplied and not divided, or so his saying goes. But his vision of multiplication today earns the Sister Wives adults a failing grade. Division seems to be higher up in Kody Brown’s skill set over the last few seasons.

So, when each episode opens, the Sister Wives ladies give a one-liner on their lifestyle. Then Kody weighs in with his math example. But that doesn’t work for the fans anymore.

So, when Season 17 airs next, they urge TLC to amp things up a bit. At the very least they want the opener to coincide with their new lifestyles today.

Kody Brown doesn’t look like a polygamous husband anymore. So, viewers want to see Kody and his ladies get with the current times. But will they?

What Kody and the Women Should Look Like in TLC Series Intro

One of the more popular versions among the fans making comments about this gains steam today. It mirrors what we know so far about the Sister Wives adults and where they are at this point.

Instead of starting from the first wife, Meri Brown, a fan suggests they mix it up for a new intro. So, this suggestion for an opener says they’d start with Robyn Brown.

So, instead of Kody Brown showing up at the end, the commenter envisions seeing the patriarch with Robyn. The fan suggests that they should be seen in their “McMansion with their perfect, sheltered, and coddled children.”

Next, comes Meri Brown. Fans see her setting as Lizzie’s Heritage Inn. That’s the business she owns without any of the Sister Wives’ family. It seems like her purchase of the B&B was her first step toward independence.

She became her breadwinner (as fans see it) because it’s not a family-shared gig. Despite hard feelings from the Sister Wives adults, Meri told Kody and the other women that this was her baby. So she made a big leap which paid off for her.

Sister Wives: How About the Spouse in the House on Wheels?

So, first Robyn and Kody, then followed by Meri in the new imagined Sister Wives opener. Next, the suggestion for Janelle Brown’s scene has to do with her RV on Coyote Pass.

She reports that she’s happy there. Followers also hope that some of Season 17 will include some glimpses of her RV lifestyle. Last, but certainly not least, is ex-wife Christine Brown.

Some viewers want to see a new show opener signifying Christine’s changed status within the family. They see her just walking away. But, we know Christine is part of Season 17. So, we expect to see her final days as Mrs. Kody Brown when new episodes air.

It would be great if they found the perfect song to play in the background of all these creative fan scenes. But while TLC might not go for these suggestions, the family followers made themselves clear in their comments.

The introduction that starts the Sister Wives episodes doesn’t fit the reality of their lives anymore. That ship has sailed and it’s time for an update — at least according to some die-hard fans.

So, will TLC take a stab at making the intro better match what goes on within the Sister Wives tribe today? Fans sure hope so, but only time will tell if Kody Brown gets a new intro that reflects life in the fractured Brown family.
