‘Sister Wives’: Kody’s Awful Words Crack Agenda Wide Open
Sister Wives star Kody Brown went too far slamming Christine Brown in the Season 17 opener for some fans. He also revealed his true, but very dark colors to the viewers of this TLC series.
He says he wants a relationship with the kids he has together for a talk with Christine. But after her six kids get a look at what was said by Kody to their mother, that might be a tall order to fill.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Accuses Christine Brown of Tainting the Kids
Kody Brown verbally tore into Christine Brown on the first episode of the new season Sunday night. He claimed that she turned the kids against him, among other things.
But from where Sister Wives fans sit today, Kody did a good job at this all by himself. If there’s one thing that the viewers of this reality show know for sure, that’s how much Christine Brown’s kids adore her.
So, after hearing what their father said on camera, it’s hard not to imagine this hurt more than only their mom. It’s likely the kids took issue with this as well.
This talk with the shared husband left the third Sister Wives’ bride saying that this was the most humiliating thing she’s gone through.
Kody Keeps a Watchful Eye on Kids or Money?
Kody Brown had several excuses ready for his demands that Christine does not leave Flagstaff. But each new one seemed to peel a layer away to get to his real goal. First, he told her they don’t have to be lovers for the Sister Wives’ patriarch to be a good father.
This was in response to his then-estranged wife saying she won’t stay in a marriage where there’s no intimacy. He even tells her to get a husband and make him part of the family.
But he didn’t have Christine’s happiness in mind. For a minute there, it sounded like he didn’t want to be far from Truely Brown. But that also changed quickly when this Sister Wives Season 17 premiere rolled on.
It boils down to Papa Brown wanting his third wife to stay put under his watchful eye. He claims that he sees her getting a greedy boyfriend and this guy, along with Christine, taking all the family’s money.
Kody Brown said she is moving into the least friendly state when it comes to polygamy. So, he worried about what she could legally do while a resident of Utah. Especially since they’re not married in the eyes of the law.
So, he worries that his legal rights to assets might be in jeopardy. Kody Brown paints a picture of Christine getting herself a greedy man who wants her for her money.
Then he worries about his access to Truely Brown, 12, the couple’s youngest child together. But as Christine points out, over the last 800 days, the father of 18 spent only three of them with her little arm of the family. So, it became clear to fans he saw dollar signs during this talk and probably nothing more.
Sister Wives: Christine’s Brawl Beating a Warning for Other Wives?
Kody verbally wiped the floor up with Christine Brown. Fans hopped online to say he tried to strip her of all her dignity. But it backfired, as she came out just fine. Fans rally behind the now-divorced wife and applaud her move away.
While Kody tried to paint himself the victim, he didn’t even come close to that for the Sister Wives fans. So, by painting that greedy boyfriend scenario, fans suggest Kody is saying that Christine Brown isn’t smart enough not to get taken.

But what’s even worse it seems his greedy boyfriend spiel disses Christine big time. It sounds like Kody believes she has no other qualities for a man to find appealing but her money. Sister Wives fans say that is just awful on the shared husband’s part.
So, what about the other wives? Will they ignore the rotten way that Kody sized up Christine? Or will they see this as something he could be thinking about them as well? Many fans seem to think that Kody believes he’s the best thing to ever happen to his wives.
