‘Sister Wives’: Janelle Spills on the Risk Kody Brings to His Brides

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown takes aim at Kody Brown as life gets tough both on and off the TLC series. This is so unlike the second wife, or at least it was before the last few seasons.

Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Confirms What Fans Said All Along

Up until recently, she’s the one who never threw Kody Brown under the bus. Janelle stood by her shared husband. Not only that, but she praised Kody as a good father and a good husband. But something changed drastically in her latest critique of the man she shared with three other women for decades.

For most of the fans of this reality series, Janelle Brown became the straight shooter. When she said something, it didn’t come in a cryptic message. You didn’t need to tease out whether she said something seriously or in jest.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown - Meri Brown - Janelle Brown - Christine Brown - Robyn Brown

For that reason, when Janelle Brown said something, you can count on the fans to listen. Unlike a few of the other Sister Wives adults, most fans didn’t need to question if Janelle meant what she said or not. Because if she said it, she meant it.

With that said, what Janelle recently shared caught the attention of the fans. Viewers of this show have thought for a long time Robyn Brown pulls the strings and Kody Brown goes in the direction she leads him. Well, according to what Janell just shared, it looks like that is pretty much the way it is.

It sounds like when Kody talks, the other wives are hearing his voice, but they’re very much aware they are Robyn’s words.

Janelle Points Out the Real Family Leader?

In this season of Sister Wives, fans heard three wives suggest that they are not cared about in this marriage. One decided that is not enough for her and moved on. Christine Brown got an overwhelming amount of praise for doing so.

Meri Brown and Janelle Brown feel the same way. The caring component among the Brown adults for each other seems long gone.

Still, Meri appears to cement herself to this family, but Janelle looks like she’s about ready to jump ship. After this season and Janelle’s latest comment, it is obvious she realizes Kody is not in charge of the family anymore.

For a man who made such a big deal about being the leader of his family, it looks like he easily gave up that spot off. Now it sounds like Robyn Brown is completely in charge of things.

Sister Wives: It Looks Like Kody Needs Leading?

Kody is all over the place when it comes to his explanations about the uprising of the family. He blames everyone but himself. His wives caused many problems with their independent thinking, according to this Sister Wives’ husband.

Christine Brown decided to leave him without even talking about it first. Meri Brown up and purchase a Bed and Breakfast by herself. Then there’s Janelle who decided to buy an RV to live in without consulting Kody. But Robyn stands by Kody no matter what, or so she says.

All this sudden independent thinking could be because Kody does Robyn’s bidding for her. Janelle Brown came right out and said that Kody sees everything from the perspective of Robyn and her children. So, it sounds as if this was a nice way for Janelle Brown to say Robyn runs the Sister Wives family.

So, it seems if any of the wives had brought their ideas to Kody first, it wouldn’t be Kody Brown’s decision they’d heard. From the way Janelle explains things, it would come from Robyn’s perspective.

This is not news for the fans of the show, who saw this all along. But it is huge that Janelle Brown has come out and said it. So, it sounds like the other wives might have become independent thinkers in light of this. Christine Brown said all she ever wanted was to be an “equal” wife.

Janelle Suggests Kody Only the Middleman?

So, with the Sister Wives patriarch running things from Robyn’s perspective, why would they bring their ideas to Kody Brown? If Robyn would eventually have the last say on it, maybe Meri, Christine, and Janelle thought they’d make the decisions themselves.

Now that the second wife shed some light on the way things work for Kody Brown these days, things look clearer for fans.

Maybe that’s why Meri Brown suggested her new best friend is Jenn Sullivan. It looks as if she replaced Robyn under the title of Meri Brown’s bestie. For years that’s how Meri titled her relationship with Robyn.

But from what Janell Brown said, it looks like today it’s Kody Brown and Robyn Brown. And Janelle Brown makes it sound in a roundabout way that Robyn calls the shots.

So, it looks like these TLC stars don’t take the risk of running things by Kody because it sounds like the answer they get comes from his youngest wife.
