Sharon Newman Helps Abby Newman
Abby agreed to share custody of her son with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). But it was not an easy decision for her to make. Everyone agrees it is best for Dominic Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
Yet it still breaks Abby Newman’s heart. Devon has his first overnight visit with the baby. But his mom’s sad and melancholy while he’s away. While at Crimson Lights, Sharon talks to Abby Newman.
It is obvious the new mother is suffering. So, Sharon offers guidance to her. She’s a trained therapist, so she listens as Abby vents about the situation. Sharon also has advice about Chance Chancellor‘s (Conner Floyd) problems.

Abby Must Work with Devon Hamilton on Y&R
Abby avoided a court battle due to her willingness to honor Devon’s role in his biological son’s life. But things are not easy for her. Tensions run high as they settle into the new reality. Devon’s thrilled about how things turned out.
But the same thing can’t be said about his baby mama. She cried as he took her son home with him. She knows she must find a way to make peace with this. After Sharon offers advice, they have a serious discussion soon.

They must put Dom’s needs first on Y&R. But Devon is happy he didn’t have to take them to court. So, he is willing to do whatever it takes to help her feel comfortable with the arrangement.
After sharing their feelings, things get better between baby Dom’s bio-parents. So, Abby’s left to focus on her husband with Sharon’s help as he continues his downward spiral.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) supported his daughter’s relationship with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). He and his wife threw a lavish wedding for them. But things changed and The Mustache no longer trusts his son-in-law.
