RHOC: Kelly Dodd Says Her Family Is Taking the Loss Hard
The former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Kelly Dodd took to social media to share her family’s devastating news. Dodd says that she is in shock.
She tells her followers that her beloved dog Benji was killed over the weekend. The RHOC star says the little pup was attacked and killed by a coyote that jumped the fence on their property.
Kelly states that she was not at home, and a friend was dog-sitting Benji. The Real Housewives of Orange County star states that they believe the pup heard the coyote outside and went out the doggie door to investigate.
She says the family is taking the loss very hard. Kelly admits that she and her husband, Rick Leventhal, are distraught. She also said that her daughter, Jolie Dodd, 14, can’t stop crying.
She pays tribute to the pup Benji saying he was a joy and a bright light in their lives, adding how much they would all miss him. Kelly’s post began receiving many comforting and supportive messages from her followers and her Bravo Real Housewives of Orange County friends and co-stars.
Kelly Feuds with Other Bravo Housewives
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star has been making many news headlines lately. Bravo fans know Kelly for her outspoken personality.
However, her quick reaction to speak first and think later often finds the reality star catching a lot of heat. In the past few months, she instigated feuds with Bravo stars RHOC Heather Dubrow and RHOBH Lisa Vanderpump, to name a couple.

Earlier this month, Kelly Dodd made a public remark during her Instagram Live feed that set off another feud between Dodd and RHOBH star Lisa Rinna.
The incident began after one of Kelly’s followers commented about Rinna’s husband, Harry Hamlin, questioning his sexuality. The RHOC cast member is laughing before she speaks out.

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly stated, “I called it!” She calls Lisa a “beard.” Kelly also then explains to her 14-year-old daughter Jolie the meaning.
She tells Jolie that it is “someone who is used to conceal someone else’s sexuality.” Lisa also has a response and quickly answers back to her comments with a meme of herself wearing a beard.
