‘RHOC’: Heather Dubrow Stays for Season 17 – Guess Who’s Out?
RHOC viewers will reportedly be seeing Heather Dubrow again and another major cast shake-up in Season 17. New reports reveal that the Bravo network will be making one more attempt to lock down the perfect Real Housewives of Orange County Housewives lineup.
RHOC: Shannon Beador & Heather Dubrow Not Enough
RHOC fans were not impressed with Season 16. Most will agree that it was the worst season to date. Bravo decided to shake up the Real Housewives of Orange County cast following Season 15. The cast change included firing Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham Burk, and Elizabeth Vargas.
In their place, RHOC OG Shannon saw the return of former cast member Heather Dubrow and newbies Dr. Jen Armstrong and Noella Bergener.
The network began pushing and teasing fans with the news of Heather Dubrow’s return. Before the Season 16 premiere, fans revealed their excitement for the return of Dubrow.

Some Real Housewives of Orange County viewers were curious how the standing OC OG felt about Dubrow’s return. Many thought that it would be a problem.
They believed Shannon would feel that Heather was there to squeeze her out and take over her top-tier spot with the franchise. However, as it would turn out, Heather’s return did not help the show’s ratings and, in fact, did just the opposite.
What Is Bravo’s Next Move?
Bravo viewers quickly lost interest in Heather. They felt too much focus is on her drama. Besides the viewer disappointment in Heather, the two new Real Housewives of Orange County additions brought very little interest. Fans quickly began to reveal their boredom, and the ratings for the season started to plummet soon.
By the end of the season, RHOC had hit an all-time low in popularity and viewership. So, since the Season 16 reunion, the network has reportedly been brainstorming what their next moves are.

They know they need something big to draw fans back in. But it also has to be something that keeps fans coming back every week wanting more.
So, now reports reveal that there will be another significant shake-up for Season 17. With Dr. Jen and Noella exiting the reality series, there are voids to fill.
That being said, rumors are beginning to circulate that the network is in talks to bring back two more Real Housewives of Orange County alums in hopes of adding new life.
Jen didn’t give us enough and Noella gave us way too much – won’t miss either. Bravo really need to strike oil and get the casting right for season 17. The #RHOC lineup is becoming a revolving door. https://t.co/yqABqSNMDy

Are Real Housewives of Orange County Producers Calling in Alums to Save The Franchise?
At this time, Season 17 RHOC cast members include Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson. Rumors circulating reveal that the network may be in talks with former Orange County Housewives Tamra Judge and Alexis Bellino. At this time, nothing is confirmed.
Some Real Housewives of Orange County viewers are calling for Tamra’s return. However, they also want to see former OG Vicki Gunvalson return. They feel that the chemistry between Beador, Judge, and Gunvalson worked for many years and could snap some new life into the stale franchise.
I heard from a little birdie that @tamrajudgeOC is coming back for season 17??!! Please let this be true 😭😭😭 #RHOC

Do you want to see the Tres Amigos reunited, or has that ship long sailed? Regardless of what Bravo decides to do in the upcoming Season 17, one thing is sure it needs to be significant. If Season 17 follows the same path as Season 16, the network may need to make some even more drastic decisions.
