OutDaughtered parents Danielle and Adam Busby say their daughter Riley Paige Busby is not adjusting well to quarantine life. The couple’s other five daughters are enjoying the quarantine time. However, Riley isn’t used to the new routine and their new normal.
It’s an unprecedented time for our country while we all adapt to this unique situation. Plus, it’s especially hard for parents of school-age children as they become teachers on top of all the other roles they play in their families. The Busby’s are no different. Here’s how Riley and her sisters are spending their safer at home time.
OutDaughtered: Riley Busby Still Adjusting To The Quarantine
OutDaughtered star Riley Busby and her four sisters Ava, Olivia, Parker, and Hazel are the only set of all-girl quintuplets in the United States. We’ve watched these girls along with their older sister Blayke Busby for all of the quints’ lives. They’re grown accustomed to routines. That’s how the Busbys are able to wrangle all six of their kids and maintain order in their house.
All the OutDaughtered girls go to school outside the home. However, now their schools are closed to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. So their once structured days are no longer. Danielle Busby says that of all her daughters, Riley Paige has the most trouble adjusting to the changes.
Riley Busby is used to her own days in school in her own classroom. Recall Riley is the “smartest” of the OutDaughtered quints. Riley even skipped a grade in school So it makes sense that she is having a hard time with the relaxed atmosphere of quarantine living. Additionally, these last few weeks have been more like her “weekend reality”.
Riley Busby And Her Sisters In Quarantine
The Busby girls from OutDaughtered are lucky they live in a state that is warm like Texas. Since the weather is so warm, the girls are able to spend a lot of their days swimming in their backyard pool. They also have a great backyard that is more like a park the just a yard. So, of course, they are getting their fair share of vitamin D from the sun and getting to burn off their pent up energy. All the girls are enjoying extra time and attention from their parents, especially from their dad.
It’s not all fun and games. they are still doing educational activities to stay on top of theory academics. Once their schoolwork is done, they get to play. The girls cannot go on playdates or hang with their aunts, uncles, and cousins and they’ve not been in their family van in weeks. But Adam grabbed the girls and took them on a ride to pick up take out dinner, Then the OutDaughtered family of eight enjoyed their meal picnic-style outside.

The OutDaughtered mother of six, Danielle Busby, and her husband Adam Busby have their faith in God to get them and their family through these difficult times. Church looks a lot different these days for the Busby family. Now they worship online with their church family from their own living room.
Daniele Busby offers support and comfort to her daughter Riley just like any good mom would. She advises Riley to “hang in there my love, we are all on the same bus”. Riley certainly is a strong-willed child but no doubt she has her family in her corner now and always.
