My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Getting More Pets?
Whitney Thore already has a full house when it comes to furkids. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member has three cats. Her eldest cat’s name is Henchimayne.
However, she calls him Henchi for short. He is an orange Persian cat. She also has a cat named Wandaleeza Rice, who is a Himalayan. And Ollie, who is a Selkirk Rex.

Whitney also has a dog in her family. She adopted a poodle named Caniche. However, she went with the nickname Neeshi. Yet, after having the dog for a while, she didn’t think the name fit the dog. So, she changed the name to Goose. According to the TLC star, it fits her “blossoming personality.”
Whitney Thore is an animal lover. But it seems like the My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star isn’t open to expanding her family with more pets. She has imposed a “no-more-pet rule.” Having a dog and three cats is good enough for her.
Whitney Wants Cat to Live Forever
Whitney Thore previously suffered a health scare with her cat Henchi. A few years back, she was living between her hometown Greensboro and Charlotte, North Carolina.
She would take her pets with her for the car ride. However, the long rides and constant moving eventually took a toll on Henchi’s health.
Whitney had found Henchi in her closet, not acting like himself. So, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star took him to the vet. She was told that he could have cancer. She feared the worst. But, after doing a few more tests, she found out he didn’t have cancer.
Now Henchi is 15 years old. Whitney knows that her furry animal won’t live forever. But she does plan to welcome another Henchi into her life when he passes on.
According to the TLC star, her cat knows he has to return to her as “an identical orange Persian kitten.” And she will have to “acquire him for his next round of existence.”
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Celeb Ditches Baby Plan?
Whitney Thore has been open about her desire to become a mother. However, her love life and health have made it difficult for her to make that dream come true.
So, to keep her hopes of welcoming a baby alive, she froze some of her eggs. She also asked her good friend, Heather Sykes, if she would be the surrogate. But, it seems like getting pregnant may not be on the table for her at the moment.
However, Whitney did recently welcome a baby into her life. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member’s best friend, Ashley Baynes, gave birth to a baby boy, August Daniel Hadley, on May 24. Whitney has taken photos with the little one. So, could this baby give her baby fever?
