The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star will soon have an empty room in her house since Buddy Bell is moving out. Whitney Thore’s mom suggests that she uses that room for a child. But, the TLC star says that she doesn’t have a child, so that’s not an option. Whitney feels that at her age, having a baby is “not looking real promising.” However, she has an appointment with the fertility doctor to discover what’s happening with her body.
When Whitney Thore from the hit show My Big Fat Fabulous Life was 28, a doctor told her that her “ovaries are in a wheelchair.” She feels that if she wants to move forward with having a baby, she would want to do it “sooner rather than later.” She doesn’t want to be 40 and taking care of a newborn.

Whitney Thore looked into freezing her eggs a few years ago. But, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member thought she still had time to meet someone. So, she held off on it. And then Whitney met Chase Severino. She thought they would try the “old fashion way.” Yet, that didn’t work out, and now freezing her eggs is back on the table. She knows that at her age, fertility starts to decline. Also, having Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) makes her feel that her clock is ticking even faster.

When Whitney Thore saw a fertility doctor three years ago, she got the good news that she had twice as many eggs as someone with PCOS. So, now, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate wants to go back to see if anything has changed. Whitney is prepared for every outcome. However, she is very nervous. She doesn’t want to think of the worst-case scenario. But, if she finds out she can’t freeze her eggs, she will never be able to forgive herself.

But, surrogacy seems to be the best option for her.
