However, the TLC celeb confirmed that the metal in her mouth was real and that she did get braces. She also said she would be wearing them for over a year. And the time has come to reveal the final look. Did the braces improve her teeth?
Whitney Flaunts Perfect Smile
Whitney recently got her braces taken off. She took a photo with her orthodontist showing off her new smile. The TLC star feels that Dr. Matt is “fantastic.” She is thankful for how her teeth turned out. She loves how they look.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member now has a perfect smile. Her teeth are straight. The change from her old smile and how her smile looks now is completely different. Her teeth didn’t seem that bad before the braces. But now, seeing the aftermath, there is a noticeable difference.
Whitney is happy to have her braces off after 15 months of wearing them. There is a good chance that she will smile more. But there is more to be happy about than having a perfect smile. She now doesn’t have to worry about what she eats.

Whitney Thore couldn’t eat many of her favorite candies while wearing braces. But now that they are off, she can’t wait to eat whatever she wants. She reveals that she wants to eat peanut butter and chew gum. But that’s not all she ate after getting her braces taken off.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate also wasn’t allowed to eat anything chewy while she had her braces on. But, now that they were off, she didn’t waste any time eating candy. She ate her first chewy candy in 15 months. She had Starbursts.
Whitney also had tried eating a candy that wasn’t as chewy. The TLC celeb ate Lifesavers. She was happy to eat all the sweets she wanted and not worry about anything getting stuck or ruining her braces.
