My Big Fat Fabulous Life previews show Whitney Thore brings Chase Severino home to meet her parents, Barbara Thore and Glenn Thore. They briefly met Chase in passing by accident when he showed up to help her move from Greensboro to Charlotte. However, it was not the meeting all had hoped for. So, now Whitney Thore’s parents anxiously prepare to impress her new boyfriend this week on MBFFL.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Spoilers: Whitney Thore’s Mom Pulls Out All The Stops To Impress Chase Severino
Whitney Thore’s relationship with Chase Severino is getting serious this season on My Big Fat Fabulous Life. Chase has taken Whitney home to meet his family so now it’s her turn to formally introduce him to her parents and brother. Whitney’s mother Babs wants to make sure she impresses her daughter’s boyfriend. So, she decides the good china and crystal are the way to go. After all, she is southern and as she says she was not raised to entertain a gentleman caller at the coffee table.
However, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star reminds her mom that when she met Chase Severino’s family it was very laid back and casual. She wants then to take this time to get to know Chase better. Whitney says breaking out the good china and having dinner in the dining room is intimidating. Whitney also wants her mother to know Chase Severino’s style is more country casual. She’s afraid her mom will get crazy and embarrass her. Of course, Babs assures Whitney Thore that will not happen.
Whitney’s Dad Glenn Thore Puts Chase Severino In The Hot Seat
Whitney Thore worried her mother would be the one to embarrass her on My Big Fat Fabulous Life when she brought Chase Severino home to meet them. However, it seems her dad Glenn is the one who makes Whitney Thore want “to crawl into a hole and die”. After dinner, Glenn puts Chase into the proverbial hot seat and asks the hard questions no daughter wants to be asked on the first meeting between her boyfriends and father.
Glenn Thore informs Chase Severino that it’s been a long time since daughter has brought home a man to meet them on My Big Fat Fabulous Life. He holds nothing back and asks if there are any plans for setting some kind of date for an engagement. Perhaps Glenn needs to pump the brakes a bit. Whitney Thore and now-fiance Chase Severino have yet to say “I love you” to each other yet on the show.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Road To The Ring Season Leaves Fans Torn
This season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life TLC is promoting as “the road to the ring”. However many MBFFL fans are not enjoying this season as much as the had hoped. Of course, they’re thrilled Whitney Thore falls in love and sees a future with Chase Severino. However, there are many fans feel Chase Severino is using Whitney to propel his own interests and career. Additionally, many viewers of My Big Fat Fabulous Life think Whitney Thore’s besties in Greensboro are afterthoughts this season. Hopefully, as the season draws to a close we’ll see more of Whitney Thore’s old Greensboro crew.
