My Big Fat Fabulous Life has Whitney Thore at odds with Buddy Bell but the besties seem fine now as the spent quality time in her closet. The two were in an interesting position in the space – and for a good reason. But he comes out of it clawed up.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Buddy Bell Very Late on Season Premiere

If you watched the first episode of Season 9 of MBFFL, you saw a bunch of people sitting in Whitney Thore’s backyard, hungry and waiting on Biddy Bell to show up with the meat. He finally did and grilled and served it. However, since he’s usually late, Buddy thought Whitney should have factored that into the schedule.

Then, in front of their assembled friends, and her parents, Glenn and Babs Thore, Whitney unloaded on Buddy Bell. On My Big Fat Fabulous Life, she read Buddy the riot act about never being at their shared house, letting mail pile up, and always being off at his girlfriend’s house. That wasn’t too bad. Then Whitney Thore cut deep.

As Whitney told Buddy she spent time sorting his mail, she told the assembled co-stars of My Big Fat Fabulous Life that part of the mail she sorts for him are collections notices. So, it seems like she was outing that Buddy Bell has past-due bills. He denied it and later, Whitney Thore apologized. But she stormed off at the end of the evening saying he wasn’t following through on their “life plans”.

Whitney Thore and BFF Not on the Outs Now

Whether that was “real” drama or “reel” drama, it seems to be done now because Whitney was having a good time with Buddy Bell in her closet. Buddy was there with Whitney Thore as she filmed a promotion for a self-care product. What was funny was that Buddy was shirtless and it looked like he wasn’t wearing anything at all because of the camera angle.

However, My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney was quick to angle the lens down to show Buddy Bell had on pants. Then for some reason, Whitney Thore said she was fully n*de under her robe. That explained why she made sure to pull it closed a few times during the video. What was really wild was that she said they were in her closet. And it’s a very big closet indeed.

They didn’t look cramped at all, so it must be almost a room-sized space. Whitney Thore showed off a bit of the house during the My Big Fat Fabulous Life episode. But this closet didn’t look like the one crammed full of clothes on hangers she was in with Ashley Bayne. During the video, Whitney laughed and joked with Buddy as they put on face masks, so things seem fine.

Buddy Comes out of Whitney’s Closet with Scratches – What Happened to My Big Fat Fabulous Life Co-Star?

By the end of the shoot, Buddy Bell was scratched up. Yet, he’s back on good terms with Whitney Thore. So, what happened? Whitney’s beloved cat Henchi decided to make a cameo as they were filming. Henchi roamed into the closet and Whitney asked Buddy to pick him up. And he did.

But remember, My Big Fat Fabulous Life‘s Buddy was shirtless at the time. He held Henchi over his shoulder for a moment then Whitney wanted him to turn the cat so she could give Henchi some CBD oil. The feline wasn’t interested and got a little frisky. By the time Whitney Thore claimed her cat, Buddy Bell was scratched.

You can see in the photo above that Henchi looked a little alarmed, but Whitney Thore from My Big Fat Fabulous Life said he was purring. Buddy Bell laughed and made the same face the cat was. After the kitty scooted away, Buddy showed off the scratch on his belly, but it wasn’t bleeding. Although, he might think twice about picking up Whitney’s cat without a shirt on next time.
