Whitney Thore has always been a big supporter of body positivity. Several years ago, she started a No BS movement, which focuses on not body shaming people. Over the years, her movement has expanded in other areas. A few years ago, she brought her body-positive attitude to sea and did a No BS cruise with a bunch of people.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast members’ recent venture in her No BS movement was creating a fitness business. She calls it No BS Active. She and her business partner and best friend, Jessica Powell, create at-home workout videos for people of all skill levels. They eventually made their own app and were able to reach an even bigger audience.
However, Whitney and Jessica’s fitness business allowed people who find gyms intimidating to work out in the comfort of their own homes. Many people are thankful for their help on their fitness journey. But is the business still up and running?
Whitney’s Friend Jessica Powell Takes on New Clients
Jessica played a big role in No BS Active. As a professional trainer, she provided many of the workouts. She was able to help Whitney in areas that she was more knowledgeable in. So, the pair worked well together, and their business relationship soon became a friendship.
Yet, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member recently took to the internet to let people know she was accepting new clients. However, it wasn’t for her fitness business with Whitney. It was for her father, Will Powell’s fitness studio. She revealed that people can contact her for a consultation and to get started with training with her.
However, Jessica won’t be sharing workout videos with her clients like she does with No BS Active. She will be training them in person. Yet, if people don’t live in her area, she also provides virtual training.

Jessica Powell’s announcement that she is taking on new clients had people wondering what happened to her fitness business with Whitney Thore. One person wonders if she no longer works for the TLC celeb. Another person asks if she is “no longer involved in No BS Active.”
