My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Heather Sykes came out about her personal preferences. But, after she shared her thoughts with her friends, she was bullied. Heather was called a “furry” by one of her close friends.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Heather Sykes Steps Up
Heather Sykes from My Big Fat Fabulous Life worked hard to be there for her friend, Whitney Thore. While Whitney was heartbroken about her relationship with the French man, Heather tried to console her. And when the majority of Whitney’s friends didn’t agree with Whitney’s decisions, she tried to be supportive.
There were many moments on the TLC hit show where Whitney Thore broke down into tears. Recently, Whitney cried with Heather while they were out sailing together. And even though she’s on vacation with Whitney, it didn’t stop her from stepping up. Heather from My Big Fat Fabulous Life stepped up and offered support and reassuring words.
Also, while Heather Sykes comforted her friend, she glowed. Soap Dirt reported on Heather’s new hair color and it suited her well.

Whitney with Her Friend Almost Sink a Boat
Whitney Thore and Heather Sykes from My Big Fat Fabulous Life got together to sail a boat. This was for an activity Hunter Thore planned during the family and friend vacation the group takes every year (as long as there isn’t a pandemic). At first, she expected to relax and enjoy the sailing. However, she quickly realized she needed to learn how to sail a boat.
But, she quickly got the hang of how to work the ropes to sail the boat. And once she developed a better idea of how to work the sail system, she began to have fun.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Heather Likes Her Men Hairy and Furry
While she was out tanning with Tal Fish, Todd Beasley, and Ashley Baynes, Heather Sykes opened up. She revealed her thoughts about the Beast in Beauty and the Beast. She believed the human form of the Beast was unattractive.
Next, she stated she believed the Beast “as the animal” was more enjoyable. Then, she started to laugh.
On My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Ashley Baynes seemed shocked by this statement. Next, she told Heather that her opinion said “more about you” than it did “him”, as she referred to the Beast. Todd quickly chimed in and called her a “furry” as he laughed.
Heather said she liked “them hairy” as she went along with the joke. Next, she revealed she didn’t “mind some hair” as she took a sip of her drink.
Quickly after her admission, Tal stated Heather came out of the “furry closet” to the rest of the group.
Thankfully, she took the group’s jokes in good fun. And there isn’t any additional tension in the group.
