‘Married at First Sight’: Virginia Coombs Accuses Erik Lake of Lying

Married at First Sight star Virginia Coombs didn’t believe something Erik Lake told her during MAFS. In fact, most people agree with her and think that he’s at least stretching the truth.

Married at First Sight: Virginia Coombs Not Convinced

Virginia Coombs from Married at First Sight loves her dog Rocky and her cats. Her cats slept with her during her single years, but Erik Lake wanted to stop it. Virginia said that was where they slept, and he should really get over it. Lifetime fans went back and forth on who’s team they were on, but most people sided with Erik because of his allergies.

During Married at First Sight, Erik Lake said he had allergies to cats. Fans noticed he only said that after he found out Virginia had cats, and they weren’t sure they believed he had an allergy to them. On the other hand, people pointed out that he might not have bad allergies. Despite this, it was a real issue for the couple, and they had fights over it.

Viewers of Married at First Sight remained skeptical, and now Virginia Coombs said she didn’t know if Erik really has allergies to cats. She said Erik didn’t need to take anything for it until after three weeks. She tried to play it off by saying she was just kidding, but most people believe she thinks he’s full of it on this issue.

Is Erik Lake Mr. Perfect or Lacking in the Truth Department?

Married at First Sight fans couldn’t shake the feeling that he was fibbing on the cat allergy. SD recently showed an old photo of him with his ex and a cat almost on his face. Viewers said he wouldn’t get that close if he truly had allergies. Some fans think he hoped she would get rid of her cats to be with him.

Erik from Married at First Sight gave a lot of ultimatums. Despite him saying he didn’t give them, production caught him on video showing it was his way or the highway. Later, Erik Lake admitted he should have dealt with Virginia differently and learned a lot about communication.

Married at First Sight watchers said they definitely don’t think Erik is perfect. However, they do think it was good that he admitted he did some things the wrong way. Half the battle with these relationships is being able to own your contribution to the problem.

Married at First Sight: Erik & Virginia Stay Married

Erik Lake from Married at First Sight said he wasn’t totally sure what Virginia Coombs would say on Decision Day. He was pretty nervous she wasn’t as into him as he was into her. Virginia said she would have normally left a relationship long before the eight-week period, so at least there was that.

On the reunion episode of Married at First Sight they said they are still in a happy marriage. Erik’s mom even made an appearance and said she loves Virginia Coombs. It was adorable to see how close they were and how much they love each other.

Married at First Sight host Kevin Frazier enjoyed seeing the couple interact with Erik Lake’s mom. Some people said they hope they bring some of the parents on more often to see how they feel about the process afterward. Whatever the case, viewers hope the cat issue won’t continue to be a problem for the happy couple. Everyone knows the cats aren’t going anywhere if it came down to them or Erik.
