Married at First Sight: Jacob Harder Tries to Help New Cast Members
Jacob Harder from Married at First Sight is sweeter than he might have appeared on Season 12 of the Lifetime show. In fact, he wanted to give some seasoned advice to the new cast from Houston. He told them that whatever they did, they should stay away from Twitter.
Jacob said, “Try not to take the negativity personal, you know who you are, but at times people only see their biased perspectives molded by their best & worst experiences in life.” He also went on to remind the new Married at First Sight crew that you can’t change their minds.
Married at First Sight star Jacob Harder stirred up a lot of discussion about the experience. Former cast members talked to him and shared their two cents about the experience as well. Many said they would never do it again if they had the opportunity.

Jacob of Married at First Sight isn’t the only one that had advice for the newbies. Olivia Cornu from season 11 said she would recommend not checking any social media – not just Twitter. Henry Rodriguez from season 11 said, “I second this advice. It’s hard not to look at some of that stuff, but have to realize viewers only see a glimpse of what’s going on.”
Married at First Sight celeb Jacob said people still say he’s on the spectrum due to his wedding clips. Henry said, “I can’t say I miss the days when people would continually diagnose me with social disorders.” Iris Caldwell from season 9 said, “Just stay off social media all together till it’s over.”
Everyone from Married at First Sight agreed that people didn’t have enough context to make a good assessment. And one fan said, “They will always focus on something and make it a big deal.” Many people said they watched the show but took it with a grain of salt.

Season 13 is in Houston, where Dr. Viviana Coles is from, and they are making it look stereotypically Texan with big hats and boots. Some people think it looks a little cheesy but hope more people find love this season.
No matter how hopeful Married at First Sight fans are for good matches, it’s likely there will be plenty of drama. Many people say they just want to see good matches making their way toward love. But others said they live for the train wreck couples.
