On his season of Married at First Sight, viewers learned that Henry Rodriguez didn’t have a whole lot of life experience. He’d never traveled outside of the country. And rarely tried anything new or adventurous. As the show progressed, fans saw Christina work to push him out of his comfort zone. And Henry enjoyed a lot of these new experiences. But one thing that he never tried was cooking.

The Married at First Sight husband didn’t know how to cook at all. And apparently Christina wasn’t enough of a motivating influence to make Henry Rodriguez learn during their four month long marriage. But now, he said that he was a grown man in his thirties and that it was about time that he figured out how to cook for himself. So Henry Rodriguez went live to show off his first meal.

Before Henry Rodriguez actually showed viewers the meal he had cooked, he made a few caveats. He told Married at First Sight followers not to get too excited. And said that he just cooked salmon and broccoli. Henry told followers that it may not look like much, but that he was happy with it. And that it really wasn’t anything special. However, Henry said that he was, “low-key proud of himself” for actually preparing it all by himself. So he felt like he needed to show it off.

The Married at First Sight personality said that this was the first time he’d actually prepared and cooked a meal by himself. And that he knew it didn’t look that impressive. Henry Rodriguez wanted everyone to know that he understood that it wasn’t a really big deal. Or an exceptionally difficult or complex meal.

But Henry said that he felt good about it. And that he didn’t want anyone to make any rude comments about it. Henry Rodriguez told all his Married at First Sight fans that he wouldn’t appreciate any negative comments. And he asked “the peanut gallery” to keep the hate to themselves. After he explained himself, Henry finally showed a picture of his plated salmon and broccoli.

Married at First Sight: New Confidence Abounds

Fans of Married at First Sight got the impression that Henry Rodriguez was a nice, shy man. And that his calm demeanor throughout the show proved that he a good guy. Many felt that Christina was extremely impatient and cruel when it came to their relationship. Especially after Henry confessed to her that he had low self confidence. And that it was something he battled and had to work on every day.

When Christina responded and said that confidence was a deal breaker for her, Married at First Sight critics had a field day. And the hate for Christina skyrocketed. But Henry Rodriguez seems to have bounced back easily enough. And fans are amazed at the different person he portrays on his social media accounts.
