Pumpkin Shannon and her husband have been trying unsuccessfully for another child for several months. Mama June: From Not to Hot spoilers hint that Lauryn had accepted that a second child may not be possible with Josh Efird. So, Josh was thrilled when Pumpkin learned she was expecting.
Mama June: From Not to Hot spoilers reveal that Lauryn was hesitant to take another at-home test due to the many negative results she had. However, Lauryn Shannon was feeling like something was different this time. Josh found out – with Pumpin – that she was pregnant in October of 2020. As seen on WEtv, Lauryn plans to find out the gender of her second baby with Josh Efird as soon as they can.
June Not Supportive of Pregnancy
Mama June is aware of the pending birth for Lauryn Shannon. But she was not initially supportive of the news. Current spoilers report she told Pumpkin she did not need another one. However, Pumpkin said that her mother has since changed her mind. June is reported to now be on board with the new baby Lauryn is having with Josh.
Already, Lauryn Shannon shares a four-year-old daughter, Ella May, with Josh Efird. She appears often on Mama June: From Not to Hot and offers a lot of comic relief. Ella is full of life. Her high energy keeps Pumpkin and daddy Josh on their toes. Pumpkin’s 15-year-old sister, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson also lives with the couple. So baby will make five for the family.

Josh Efird and Pumpkin married in Las Vegas in 2018. They have experienced a lot of hardship during their marriage including Mama June’s drug addiction. The couple was also forced to pack up their entire family move to a different state when June’s drug dealer showed up at their home.
According to recent spoilers Pumpkin has been under a great deal of stress lately. She reports her first pregnancy was quite difficult. But this one has been different. Pumpkin says she has much more energy this time around and can easily get things done around the house. Therefore, the young couple on the WEtv reality show is over the moon about the new arrival.
