Most reality fans of the Shannon family got to know the rollicking Southerners when they starred on Toddlers & Tiaras on TLC. Then, they spun off into their own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo on the same network. Back then, tiny Alana Thompson took the pageant circuit by storm with her sassy attitude, huge hair, and perfectly made-up face.
So, it’s no surprise to see Alana with her makeup always on point. She keeps her nails filed to lengthy polished perfection. And Alana Thompson usually has dramatically long lash extensions as well. No doubt, Honey Boo Boo is always camera ready. That’s as it should be since the WE tv cameras follow her family constantly as they film.
Currently Season 5 of Mama June: From Not to Hot airs under the theme of Road to Redemption with Alana front and center as her mother, June Shannon tries to earn her way back into the family’s good graces. Even when doing stressful confessional scenes, Honey Boo Boo always has her look just-so. That’s what makes her latest self-portrait so incredibly honest.
Honey Boo Boo’s Natural Look is Amazing
You can see the photo above of Alana Thompson’s latest all-natural-looking photo. Of course, the reality star occasionally posts a photo without her lashed and eye shadow, but those are few and far between. More often, Alana posts videos promoting the show or promotional selfies for merch and other sales offers.
You can see in the pic that Alana has her long hair straightened and swept back into a low pony. That lets her show off her complexion, which is clear and glowing, The Mama June: From Not to Hot teen also has a beauty mark to the side of one eye. The teenager’s sticking out her tongue in the photo and cheekily captioned it “i don’t care, i live MY WAY.”
Many fans loved the photo calling Alana Thompson beautiful, gorgeous, and told her to “stay healthy”. Others said they were happy to see her “taking a break from the lashes”. Others encouraged her saying she doesn’t “need all the makeup” and another said she needs “zero makeup.” So, WE tv fans were digging this look.
Mama June: From Not to Hot – Alana Still with Pregnant Sister
In addition to posting attention-getting no-makeup selfies, Alana Thompson’s still living with her sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon. However, she’s finally getting quality time with June who’s living sober life. And, it looks like her mom can avoid prison for last year’s arrest so long as she stays on the straight and narrow.
She and Geno Doak are still living in Florida, but both appear to be clean and sober. June’s doing community service, taking drug screens randomly, and must agree to searches of her home and auto. Plus, she has to stay out of establishments where alcohol’s served – and cannot drink. Now, Alana’s still living with her pregnant big sis Pumpkin.
It seems she’s sticking to more appropriate places as you can see in the photo above. She visited wholesome Disney World with Honey Boo Boo, Pumpkin, and granddaughter Ella Grace Efird. It looks like June’s living clean – and Alana Thompson is trying a clean, fresh faced look that her fans seem to love.
