Love During Lockup star Raneka is in for a shock this week. Her inmate love, Asonta, is set to be released soon. But things don’t go according to plan on the WEtv reality spinoff.
Love During Lockup: Raneka Gets Awful News
On the last Love During Lockup, Raneka was set to pick her inmate fiancée Asonta up from prison. But something went wrong, and she discovered that Asonta was not getting out. Of course, they were both upset.
But, after speaking with the judge and the prison, she found out that Asonta’s release was moved up a few days, and he would leave on Monday. Of course, Raneka was ecstatic. However, Asonta was still livid.
He was expecting to get out that day, and he was furious that it wasn’t going to happen. Raneka tried to talk him down and tell him he should be grateful that he’s getting out soon. Things were tense between them when they hung up. But she is still looking forward to his release.

Coming up on the Love After Lockup spin-off Raneka heads to Atlanta, Georgia, to pick up her man. She has big plans for him to move in with her in Atlanta.
She’s ready to take care of him and her two daughters, Rickyah and Jahara. However, her family thinks she’s making a big mistake, and it put her at odds with them.
But all Raneka can see is the big picture — and that is a future with Asonta. She doesn’t care that she’s never met him and is sure he is the one. But soon, things take a turn, and all of her plans may blow up in her face.
Raneka Gets Rude Awakening – Love After Lockup
On the next episode of Love During Lockup, Raneka goes to the prison to collect her man. But she’s in shock when he’s nowhere in sight. She contacts the prison, and they tell her that he is out.
But she can’t find him, and they say they don’t know what to tell her. So, there’s a chance he gets out and gets someone else to pick him up. After all, he and Raneka didn’t leave things very well when they got off the phone.
So he may decide to take off without her on the Love After Lockup series. If so, she will be beside herself. And her family will likely say, “I told you so.” Be sure to tune in to the WEtv reality show this week to see if Asonta gets out of jail or if Raneka must wait to meet her felon fiancée in person.
