Love After Lockup star Gabrielle “Gabby” Nieves is back for Season 5. Soon, she brings the drama with a secret that will cause chaos for her and her inmate love, Chris Graham, on the hit WEtv reality series.
Love After Lockup: Gabby Nieves at Odds with Future In-laws
Last we saw Gabby and her prison bae on Love During Lockup, they were bent on getting married and starting a family. However, Chris’ mother, Felicia, and his sister, Essence, are dead set against Gabby Nieves joining their family.
They think she is a gold digger and is just after the inmate for his money. A few years ago, he sued a corrections officer for brutality and got a settlement for $150,000. He gave half of that money to Gabby.
She says she spent it on bills and things for their apartment, amongst other things. So now Chris is broke, and she is supporting him. But she still wants to marry him. So, it doesn’t appear to be about the money because there isn’t any.
However, Essence and her mom Felicia desperately want to keep Gabby away from Chris. But soon, on Love After Lockup, she throws them for a loop, and the drama picks up…

This season, Gabby Nieves goes up against her future in-laws as she plans a secret wedding for the day of Chris’ release. She doesn’t care that her man’s family doesn’t like her. Instead, she plans to marry him no matter what.
As Season 5 of Love After Lockup kicks off, she prepares to marry her fiancé the day she picks him up from prison. Indeed, it will be tricky to tie the knot right away. Felicia and Essence plan to go with Gabby to pick Chris up.

But, somehow, they manage to say “I do” and become husband and wife. Perhaps, the bride-to-be dips out on Felicia and her daughter and scoops Chris up behind their backs. If so, she will face the wrath of her in-laws.

Coming up this season, Gabby gets her wish and marries her convict love. But they both faced the fallout from his family. The reality tv celeb says if they’re upset, it’s their problem. However, it may affect her marriage.
