Zach Roloff from Little People, Big World gives an update on his relationship with his father, Matt Roloff. The two have been at odds. But has time healed all wounds?

Zach Roloff’s relationship with his father, Matt Roloff, started to go downhill after his offer for the farm was declined. He and his wife, Tori Roloff, then bought their own piece of land and have been making it their home. He then started to distance himself from Matt. However, he never closed the doors on his father. He always told him that he was welcomed into their new home to see the kids.

The Little People, Big World reality star also stopped going to the family farm. He didn’t see the need to go anymore, and since his kids never asked to go there, he never took them. However, Matt felt he was keeping him away from his grandkids.

Zach has been focusing on raising his family and giving them an upbringing similar to his own. He wants his children to have the same experiences he did growing up on a big piece of property. So, mending his relationship with Matt Roloff isn’t a priority.

Zach & Matt’s Relationship Non-Existent

Zach recently gave an update on his relationship with Matt. He says that it is “not great.” He explains that it is non-existent. Once filming ended for the show, he gave himself some space. However, when the show started to air it brought up some “old wounds.” He adds that the “dust has settled,” but nothing has been fixed.

The Little People, Big World castmate explains that some people are still in denial about what happened or doing anything wrong. In his opinion, the people involved are narcissists.

However, Zach does think his relationship with Matt can change. He feels that more time might heal things between the father and son. Yet, he doesn’t know that his family is making an effort to mend their relationship. He even admits that looking back, there were times he could have made more of an effort.

Little People, Big World Celeb Focuses on Being a Father

Zach Roloff feels that everyone has a toxic relationship in their life. He explains that when you put up with it for so long, you eventually realize it’s not okay. So, he felt it was best to step away from Matt Roloff.

The Little People, Big World celeb explains that if his father wants to continue thinking the way he has been, nothing will change. He is just going to focus on raising his children the best way he can.

Zach loves being a father. He is always there for his kids and loves watching them grow up and become their own person. So, creating an environment where his kids can play and be themselves is important to him.
