Little People, Big World: Amy Roloff & Chris Marek Disagree on Wedding Favors
In this season of Little People, Big World, Amy Roloff and Chris Marek share their journey to their wedding day. The TLC couple didn’t have much time to plan the big event since it took them so long to settle on a date. However, once the date was picked, Amy didn’t waste any time getting all the details done. She even took control of most of the planning. Chris seemed to be a more laid-back groom. But, not when it came to picking out gifts for their guests.
The Little People, Big World duo spoke about what they want to give their guests as wedding favors. Amy Roloff thought that it would be a good idea to give away rocks that they painted. According to her, she and Chris Marek always collect stones while on road trips together. And, in some cases, they find ones that are in a shape of a heart. So, Amy liked the thought of bringing that concept into their wedding.
However, Chris Marek wasn’t on board with the idea of giving their guests rocks. So, he suggested that they add another item with the stones. But, Amy Roloff didn’t want to have two wedding favors. She put her foot down and said that the rocks would be the only gift they give their guests.
Fans Mock Amy’s Gift Idea
Many Little People, Big World viewers were on Chris Marek’s side and not Amy Roloff’s. They don’t think giving painted rocks as a wedding favor is a good decision. One person said that if they went to a wedding and got stones as a wedding favor, they would think that it’s “cheap.” Another person feels that the idea is “embarrassing and tacky.” According to a person, painted rocks are more of a craft for kids and not something you give your guests.

However, not every Little People, Big World fan thinks the rocks is a bad idea. One person feels that it is “sweet” that Amy Roloff wants to incorporate something sentimental into her wedding to Chris Marek. Another person said that it’s about “Chris and Amy, not other people.” A fan also likes how they have a meaning, unlike “most of the junk” that is stamped with the bride and groom’s name.
On the other hand, a few fans suggested that Amy Roloff should give out her fudge as wedding favors. One person believes that it is a great advertisement for her business. Another person thinks that baked goods “is always a good choice.”
Little People, Big World Couple Wed on Family Farm
Chris Marek and Amy Roloff didn’t just disagree on wedding favors. The TLC couple had other disagreements along the way. Another one being the wedding venue. Chris thought getting married on the family farm would be a good idea. However, Amy didn’t share the same feelings about it. But, under the circumstances, they thought the farm would be the best option. Amy and Chris spent a lot of time on the land together, so it holds a special place in their hearts.
The Little People, Big World soon-to-be newlyweds are a month away from becoming husband and wife. Amy Roloff is excited to start this next chapter of her life with Chris Marek. She can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. Fans can’t wait to see what the guests are holding from the wedding.
