‘Life After Lockup’: Cameron Disses Aris’ Dad?

Life After Lockup couple Aris Morton had high hopes that the first face-to-face meeting between her husband Cameron Morton and her dad Aaron would leave the two men in her life as good friends.

However, her dad did not come to play. He is not interested in making friends with his daughter’s spouse. He has questions and wants answers. But mostly he wants to check on his baby girl and speak his peace.

From the moment Aris’ dad walked into her home it was clear he had an attitude with his Life After Lockup son-in-law.

This was not intended to be a friendly getting acquainted meeting. The former inmate knew going in he would have much to prove. His new bride warned him this would be a challenge. It is not going to be easy to win him over.

He knows how close she is to her dad, and his opinion means everything to her.  But he feels up to the challenge. So, she told her husband ahead of time to look presentable and to be on his best behavior. However, he agrees to try.

The fact that Aris Morton instructs Cameron Morton of Life After Lockup on how to behave says a lot. But the fact that she introduces her dad as her best friend intimidates her spouse. This leaves the parolee wondering if there is enough room in her life for both him and her father.

Cameron Fails to Impress His WEtv Father-in-Law

Things between Cameron and Aris’ dad are already off to a rocky start. She is nervous the two men she loves most in this world may never get along.

She keeps the conversation light and polite at first. However, her dad will not allow it. He is unhappy with his daughter’s actions. He has no plans to make this meeting enjoyable for the newlyweds.

Aaron has a lot to say about his daughter’s marriage and pregnancy. Aris Morton attempts to explain their choices. She can tell her dad is angry and uninterested.

So, he laid all his cards on the table immediately. He tells Cameron Morton of Life After Lockup he has concerns. He feels this marriage happened too fast, and it will end that way too.

WEtv viewers say they could tell right away she looks anxious about what her dad will say. Camron was nervous at first. But the more his partner’s father kept talking and bombarding him with questions and comments, he became angry. It was easy to see the men were not hitting it off.

During Aaron’s Life After Lockup camera spotlight, he admits he has no faith in the couple’s marriage lasting. Or that he will get a job to support her, his granddaughter Lina and the new baby.

He also feels disrespected. Aaron is angry because his son-in-law lacked the gumption, or respect to come to him first and ask his permission to marry his baby girl.

Now that he knows where he stands with his father-in-law they can move forward. Because of this, fans said they could tell Cameron doesn’t care what Aaron thinks or feels. Second, they question his influence over his daughter.

They also question whether he will force Aris Morton to choose between Cameron Morton and him. If so, who will come out on top?
