Lennie Alehat from My Big Fat Fabulous Life Appeared on Catfish

In Season 10, TLC fans were stunned to see Whitney Thore’s ex-boyfriend Lennie Alehat back in her life. She’s got the French man in her life, but long-distance love is no easy feat. This is his second go-round on MBFFL.

He was in several early seasons (see more below), and in between that run, his split from Whitney, and this new appearance on My Big Fat Fabulous Life, he was on another reality TV show. That was MTV’s Catfish.

The episode aired on December 19, 2018, and was titled Chelsea & Lennie. After he and Whitney split, a tattoo intern named Chelsea Sawyer reached out to the reality star via social media, and they began chatting. But then she suspected he was a Catfish.

Why? He did the usual stuff of avoiding live video chats and in-person meet-ups. So, host Nev Schulman and guest co-host Tallulah Willis helped Chelsea track down the guy to see if she was talking to the real Lennie Alehat.

Catfish Love Didn’t Last for Whitney’s Ex After MBFFL

After his time on My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Lennie was no stranger to reality television cameras or fame. It turns out it was really him talking to Chelsea but his sketchy behavior was down to lack of interest in pursuing anything.

However, after their story aired on Catfish Season 7 Episode 22, they decided to try an in-person relationship. Before meeting in person, they chatted online and on the phone for a year. Although they fizzled when they met on Catfish, it worked out later.

They gave an update at the end of the episode that they were trying romance and Lennie Alehat was coming to Utah to see her. But love didn’t last and in the interim years, he’s done a lot of changing including getting clean and sober.

When Did Whitney Thore Date Lennie on My Big Fat Fabulous Life?

My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans met Lennie Alehat back in Season 2, airing in 2015. He and Whitney Thore just started dating Their relationship developed, and they were still dating in MBFFL Season 3.

She wanted Lennie to move in, but things weren’t right for them, and they split at the end of the season. However, he was back in Season 4 when she had a pregnancy scare. That didn’t pan out, and that was the end of them as a couple for the next few years.
