Of course, TR pretends he doesn’t know what happened to his daughter’s husband. But, Lani’s only focus right now is getting her husband some medical attention ASAP. Little does Lani know, her bio-dad is the one who shot the cop. Not a drug dealer.

Plus, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) offers a solid shoulder to cry on. He’s been the only father Lani has ever known. Of course, the sleazy TR Coates pretends to care.
But, he’s the one who caused the injury in the first place. Eli warned Lani to remain skeptical about her biological father. Later this week, Abe meets the man in a tense encounter.
Eli’s confrontation with TR has dire consequences and brings Lani and Valerie rushing to his side.
