Krista Allen ‘Mangled’ by Fire – Here’s Why Taylor’s Bandaged
Bold and the Beautiful star Krista Allen, who plays the role of Taylor Hayes revealed she was in a house fire. But there’s so much more to it than that when it comes to what happened to this CBS soap star.
She survived with a “mangled hand” and lost her nails on that same hand. Still, she endured these injuries to save a friend from that house fire. So, B&B has a hero in their midst today.
Bold and the Beautiful: Taylor Hayes – Art Mirrors Real World
If any of the B&B characters would take it upon themselves to run into a burning building to save someone that would be Taylor Hayes. So, it looks like Krista Allen has a little bit of Taylor in her.
Krista Allen came on to the CBS soap several months ago as Taylor Hayes. She took the place of Hunter Tylo, who played that part before her.
Those were tough shoes to slip into as Hunter’s fans weren’t ready for a new Taylor. But Krista managed to win over many of the fans from Bold and the Beautiful.
One of the first comments that swept across social media when she first hit the screen was about her age. She looked a lot younger than what you’d expect in this role of a mom.
Krista Allen didn’t look much older than Jacqueline MacInnes Wood. She plays Steffy Forrester, Taylor’s daughter on the show. But that age thing fell to the wayside once she became such a good fit.
B&B Fans Notice Krista Allen’s Hand
Bold and the Beautiful fans hardly ever miss a thing. Even with one of the most intense storylines unfolding, someone spotted Krista’s hand. In a few scenes with Steffy, Taylor’s hand sports a bandage.
A fan asked Krista Allen what happened after spotting that bandage. Krista gave a full description of how her hand became “mangled.”
First Krista clarified the timeline of the filming of today’s scenes. This Bold and the Beautiful episode they filmed about four weeks ago.
Ohhhhh boy! Yeah.

I’m fine now!
I saved someone from a house fire and my hand got mangled.

She then said it’s a long story, but it is a story worth hearing for sure. She said she is fine now. But she saved someone from a house fire. During this life-saving event, her “hand got mangled.”
She also suggested that the photos of the injury are so gross, that she’ll spare the B&B fans from looking at them.
Bold and the Beautiful: Taylor’s Popping Nails
Krista also told a funny story about the long-lasting effects of her injury. She said her “nails are gone” from this injury.
So, for the sake of the Bold and the Beautiful scenes the makeup department used press-on nails. This way her hands would match because the other hand had nails.
So funny! Yes! My nails were gone!
Funny story- in that scene I tried to use the press-on nails that makeup dept gave me to match – but they kept popping off.

But Krista said as she did her thing as Taylor Hayes with Steffy, her nails kept popping off. This story got tons of praise from B&B fans. She’s a hero today.
