Now, the famous mom airs some of this famous dad’s alleged dirty laundry on the heels of his recent comments. But in the meantime, their kids get to watch another bout of mom vs. dad in the headlines today.

Kate Gosselin and her ex-husband Jon Gosselin no longer have young kids. Their youngest kids, the sextuplets, turned 18 this year. This dad’s biggest complaint was that the kids grew up in front of the cameras.

But this mom’s biggest problem seemed to keep her and the kids in the limelight of fame. So when Jon left the original show, his wife took over with Kate Plus 8.

The headlines blared during their divorce. Jon Gosselin wanted the kids to have a normal childhood. Kate wanted a life in front of the camera. The two could never compromise on this, so, they went their separate ways.

But it was far from over. Jon was quick to reveal all of her alleged downfalls during the years. He seemed to assign plenty of bad parenting skills to his ex. Although from what the viewers of the now defunct Jon & Kate Plus 8 and then Kate Plus 8 witnessed, he didn’t need to convince too many people.

While the headlines entertained and offered heated debates on social media, they also did something else. The eight Gosselin kids became headline news on a fairly consistent basis because their parents fought it out in the media.

Either she or Jon Gosselin would talk to reporters, then one of their numerous heated bouts played out in the headlines. This hovered over the kids as they grew older.

Jon Sparks the Latest Battle – Kate Kicks Back at Jon

Jon Gosselin was informed by a media outlet that his ex-wife made two withdrawals from the kids’ trust fund to the tune of $100K. He was quoted as saying this is “disgusting” and “morally wrong.”

This immediately made the news. The trust fund was set up for all the kids, which held their share of the reality show pay until they hit 18. They appeared in both Jon & Kate Plus 8 and Kate Plus 8.

The sextuplets hit that age back in May of this year. So, when it was time for the trust fund to disperse the money, a problem came up. It seems that the two kids who live with their dad saw nothing go into their bank accounts. So, it seems the celebrity mom tapped into the kids’ money.

She didn’t deny this, but she justified doing so by saying she needed it for living expenses. Her lawyer, Attorney Richard J. Puelo also revealed her ex owes her child support.

He also rebutted Jon’s accusations about his ex-wife’s morals by saying, that his client’s “integrity is impeccable.” So, the battle in the headlines begins again.

Kate Plus 8: Who Really Suffers – The Kids?

Kate Gosselin’s attorney quoted the sum of $132,875, not including interest that Jon owes in child support. The reality star said she borrowed the $100K from the kids’ trust fund. Although reports indicate that she didn’t pay any of it back.

But who gets the brunt of this? Sure, the kids became famous thanks to their Kate Plus 8 mom. She kept going even after their father wanted the kids away from the camera.

The Gosselin twins are in college, so this can’t be a fun thing for them to know their classmates might read about this. The same likely holds for the sextuplets. Seeing their parents make headlines dragging out the personal family business in the media is likely embarrassing.

Anyway, it looks like both Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin are at it again. But now that the kids are older, hopefully, it won’t affect them too much.

Fans of the Gosselin kids can’t believe that, after all these years, this still goes on. With that said, this is not likely the last time these exes parade their dirty laundry across the headlines.
