Is Victoria Newman the Worst on ‘Young and the Restless’ Right Now?
Young and the Restless viewers see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) acting terribly lately. She’s lying, scheming, and double-crossing family and foes alike. Is she living up to her dad’s legacy — or just being awful? Do you like this new Vikki attitude on Y&R?
Young and the Restless: Victoria Newman Lies about Adam Newman
Y&R this week had Victoria Newman unloading a whole truckload of BS on her dad. She told Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that she torched Billy Abbott‘s (Jason Thompson) plot. That was a total fabrication. In fact, Vikki wanted to use Billy to ruin her dad’s company.
And recall on Young and the Restless that Victoria was mad. She was irritated that Billy Boy abruptly backed down. So, since he won’t torch Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), she will. So, Victoria flipped things and told The Mustache a bold lie. She said she forced Billy to back down.
Victoria wanted to make herself out as Newman Media’s savior. That way, Victor would see Adam as a screw-up. On The Young and the Restless, it worked a charm. Now, Victor’s micro-managing Adam. And Victoria Newman’s strutting around in her new shoes like she’s the queen of the world. Is she in the right?
Y&R’s Vikki Plays the “Daddy” Card
Did you listen closely to The Young and the Restless this week? When Victoria Newman worked on Victor, she went overboard. Several times in a few minutes, she called him “daddy”. That was when she was trying to get him to take Adam’s toy and give it to her. That toy being Newman Media.
But Vikki couldn’t convince daddy to give her Adam’s company. She trash-talked Adam Newman and said he’d run it into the ground and she’d buy it for pennies on the dollar. So, what do Y&R viewers think of this new and not-improved Victoria?

Some recent comments about Victoria Newman’s antics are biting. One fan said, “get over yourself”. Another said she “sounds like a fool”. One extreme Young and the Restless opinion was that she’s acting like a “vindictive b****”. Another milder comment was that Victoria’s “sooo mean!”
Is Victoria Going to Get Karma Slapped on Young and the Restless?
It’s clear that Victoria Newman’s still jealous of her little brother. Time and again on Y&R, Victor’s explained himself. Yes, he gives things to Adam, but he also didn’t grow up with a silver spoon. Victoria’s had every privilege and advantage. So, why can’t she just chill and let her brother own something?
Recall this week on Young and the Restless, she wants Newman Media because it’s got her name on it. But it’s not just her name is it? And that wasn’t the name of the company when they bought it. It would make more sense if she made the vendetta about her husband, Ashaldn Locke (Richard Burgi).
After all, Victor did him dirty withholding medical care to get him to sign. But the CBS soap writers don’t even mention that. Instead, they have Victoria Newman being petty for petty’s sake. However, it must be fun for Amela Heinle to play this wicked bad big sister role. What do you think?
