Is Jan Spears leaving Days of our Lives? Is Heather Lindell’s character heading out of Salem? The events of last week have everything up for grabs, especially with her baby’s paternity muddied.
Is Jan Spears Leaving Days of our Lives?
Last week, Jan Spears exit was revealed. She had a plan to steal out of Salem with her son and faux baby daddy, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). She stole the key from Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) new boat.
Then, she lured Shawn to the docks so they could sail off into their future. Jan had double trouble and needed to get away with her son and the man she loves. First, a return to prison was looming. She’d be sent back to Statesville soon.
Second, there was the impending reveal on Days of our Lives that Shawn didn’t father her child. She knew Orpheus (George DelHoyo) would spill the beans as soon as it served his purpose.
Orpheus planned to keep silent a while longer. But his son, Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) was too impatient. He wanted to see his son ASAP. Now that his other son’s cut out of his life, he’s desperate. And Jan knew he’d spill her secret.
So, she planned to leave Salem with their son and never look back. But what’s the plan now? Is she dead or alive? And if she survived will she stay gone on DOOL?
Did Belle Black Kill Her Rival on DOOL?
During their showdown at the docks, Belle Black (Martha Madison) whacked Jan Spears with an oar. The psycho woman went into the water and didn’t come back to the surface. So, is she dead or not?
It seems unlikely that Jan Spears is dead on Days of our Lives. They rarely kill a good villain on the soap. So, you can bet we’ve not seen the last of her. But with Jan now MIA, that opens up some very interesting questions.
First, who will raise baby Shawn Christian? Now, the Salem detective thinks the baby’s his. With Jan presumed dead, will Evan call and claim the kiddo? Or will his dad force him to keep quiet for a while longer?
Second, will we find out if Jan survived her ordeal? Sometimes when someone goes missing, they’ll be shown somewhere tropical hidden away to give some sort of closure. Will we get a snippet of that with Jan?
Jan Spears Exits Days of our Lives – Heather Lindell Done
As of last week, Jan Spears is done at DOOL. When she stumbled off the dock and into the murky waters, that was the end of her. At least for now. The Salem River seems to have taken her into its depths.

But the safe money is on Jan returning from the dead on Days of our Lives before all is said and done. If nothing else, we’d expect to see her on Halloween for the annual scare-fest. Then again, you never know when they might drag her out again.
